The biggest loser in the first (and likely only) presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Trump was ABC News, which hosted the faceoff. The moderators, David Muir and Linsey Davis, embarrassed themselves and their network by, among other things, fact-checking Trump in real time on more than one occasion – sometimes incorrectly – while allowing Harris to spout serial lies and distortions.
Social media blew up early on in the debate with commentators on the right, in particular, calling Tuesday night’s faceoff the worst and most one-sided debate in history.

Sorry to disagree with Ms. Peek. Trump was the biggest loser because his chances just plummeted. ABC News, as with the rest of the MSM, was already in the gutter. The biggest loser is the GOP for allowing these biased new organizations to continue to moderate debates.
ABC did not help Harris (or ABC for that matter).
They had a chance to improve their image to the American people and all they did was reinforce the idea that main stream media is just the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party.

I believe this is an opportunity for Trump to claim the victim status. Trump knew what was going to happen. The fact he knows this and still went up against ABC and their candidate says volumes.
ABC News lost only if you think that their purpose is to have credibility. I believe their purpose is to have Democrats/ leftists control everything in our country.
She knew before hand when they were setting Trump up, and was ready with a retort instantly - we all know she can't think that fast.

Doesn’t matter what’s reported the damage was done. We’ll never learn.
Calling a spade a spade isn’t someone being a loser. We rinse/repeat these cycles every year and every year we scream and gnash and complain about how bad and biased these news orgs are. Yet, our candidates continue to go back to be made to look bad.
It’s akin to a kid offing his own parents then crying because he’s an orphan.
There was speculation that it was actually the other way around, that Harris gave the questions to ABC. The questions were tailored for her.

Excellent question. It’s like beaten spouse syndrome to go back to this playbook every four years. Until a Republican candidate says “I’ll participate in two debates, but the first one must be on Newsmax,” the leftist journo cheating will continue. Every time.
Hell - ABC had a Kamala love-fest in the lead-up to the debate....you know, just to prime everyone for Kamala’s lies...
Trump is always going to debate because that’s who he is; the man in the arena. He’s a competitor and a fighter. If Harris wants a 2nd debate, Trump will oblige, and it won’t matter if it’s in Rachel Maddow’s living room. I think that’s one of the best things about Trump: he doesn’t care about whether it’s fair or not, he just plows ahead anyway. As far as, ‘then why didn’t he debate in the primaries’, there’s a difference between being a competitor and being stupid. When you’re up 40 points, it’s just dumb to debate.
Have you seen the polls this morning? Even CNN has Trump winning the debate by a lot.
