I am glad he said that. Those comments she made were way out there IMO.
As far as I know there’s no problem, either, Jem. We all get along very well. We are all on the same page and think the same way, so there’s never any disagreements. I know he’s busy - he’s got a busy job (his own concrete business) and a property to take care of, plus his family now. Before we moved to the farm he used to drop in regularly, but I honestly thing that now he figures we’re all over here and doing fine.
His wife sent me a video of my little granddaughter (she’ll be 2 on October 12th) saying the names of all of her colors lol. So cute. So I think it’s just that they’re doing life. I have no doubt we’ll all hear from him when he needs something!
Here’s a clip of Megyn Kelly. I didn’t like her either, and was leery when Tucker said he was having her join him on his tour for one evening. I think she’s had her eyes opened, and she talks about it briefly in the interview. It really is worth listening to. I’m giving her some grace, as so many people who were more on the liberal side have come around. Everyone can change. I’m amazed at Naomi Wolf as well.

What did Laura say? I mean, which remarks in particular? The MTG attacks? Laura says so much that makes me catch my breath lol. I like her, but sometimes I just think, wow. A little much.
I’m going to try as well. Lol bad enough when they start at 8:00. I doubt I’m going to last long when it finally does start lol.
I didn’t sleep well last night-tossed and turned, mostly.
Last time i peeked at the clock before finally falling asleep.

Well that is the thing. Our daughters-in-law naturally have a strong relationship with their moms. They don’t know us. So, they’ll keep us informed, but when they just want to chat or seek an answer to a problem, the default relationship is with their moms.
I just miss the relationship I had.

Somewhat better. Yesterday I had such a bad sinuse headache I wanted to take my head off. I went and got some pills for it today.

That’s so true, Jem. My DIL certainly sees her mom on a regular basis. I guess it is the wives who pretty much make sure family ties are kept. My DIL is nice, and I’m glad she’s a good wife and mom. We’ve never had an unpleasant word between us. So I am grateful for what my son has....I just miss them. Every now and then I’ll call him and hint that I haven’t seen him for awhile. Usually I can count on a visit within a couple of days of that, but then I feel like I’m just getting a guilt visit.
So, I guess it’s just the way it is. I’ll just have to enjoy him when I see them. He’s always said to drop over any time, but I’m really not a dropper inner. Big sigh.
I think I read that. Laura gets downright hateful when she goes after MTG. Poor President Trump lol. In the middle of a cat fight. He likes both of them.
