I remember reading, before the 2016 election, of the huge number of women in the worldwide Trump organization who were at very high levels. People there were promoted based on their performance. No DEI involved.

Understand, I love Trump and believe he loves America. But Trump is using the federal gov’t to do it. That’s fine for now. But like Vivek, I know the long-term recovery of our Free Constitutional Republic depends on ABOLISHING MOST of the federal gov’t - that which is patently unconstitutional.

I am sorry but I can’t grasp what you mean by placing people in the same category ect?
President Trump says he belives in abortion when it comes to rape, incest, and the health of the mother. Those conceived in that manner are still human beings so wouldn’t that be murder also? But because we love President Trump he gets a pass? Would God say that it is ok to abort under those circumstances?
I am totally confused on how we judge people.
Truth be told, I don’t agree with President Trump for these exceptions. I still, however, think that he’s a great president and I’m glad it is now an issue of each state. If I was American, I’d vote for him regardless of this, as he’s the absolute best person for the job.
My rule of thumb for abortion is that every unborn child that can be proven guilty for being there, can be killed. Does God not love each unborn child?
The difference to me is that President Trump had to act on the issue. Melania did not have to say a word. At least Laura Bush waited until Bush was out of office. There was no need for Melania to put this book out just before an election where they were pushing to get Christians to not sit this one out. Poor timing.
This is not actually judging people. It’s merely forming an opinion, based on facts. If I didn’t care for Nancy Reagan or Laura and Barbara Bush because they were pro-abortion, I see no reason why I wouldn’t feel the same way about Melania. I guess I’m just not willing to twist my beliefs to accommodate her position on abortion because she’s a beautiful and elegant First Lady.
It’s ok to disagree on this, Spunky. If you don’t mind Melania being pro-abortion, that’s your prerogative. I’m just explaining my thinking on the issue.

It saddens me deeply that she is pro-abortion, but I view her as the good mother that she is to her son Barron and to the good first lady she was and I think will be again.
I guess I just don’t understand if you throw all that away because she believes in individual rights?

The way I see Melania is that she has pretty much lied to us for 8 years. Kind of like when we found out after Reagan died that Nancy was a liberal. Or maybe it was earlier than that. Not that they matter, we didn’t elect them. Unfortunately they probably influence their husband’s decisions. I’d rather they be honest up front or not say anything at all later. What’s the point other than their own ego
I think the standard caveats are regarding the health of the mother, whether psychologically or physically. I guess you don’t think God cares about that, I don’t know. I have no clue so no opinion.
