So, what’s been happening?
It took about 3 months, and I couldn’t be happier, and it’s easier to breathe without lugging all that extra wight around.
Yeah, stay away from the center of the store (unless you really need something from there) and shop the perimeter
and the meat and cheese aisles.
I didn’t even go NEAR the pastries and bakery aisle, that
will be too much temptations.
Once we really knuckled down and got serious, the lbs just dropped right off!
Mr B has lost 40 lbs!
We learned to cook Keto, and we did not (and DO not) feel one bit deprived!
We make Ice cream and everything!
My favorite dessert so far was the Boston Cream Pie Donuts-
made from keto hamburger buns.
You’s swear they came from Dunkin Donuts!
We had to switch from white flour to Almond and or coconut flour, from white sugar to Stevia (which measures the same as white flour.)
stevia sweetener is really good too, and they even have brown sugar.
We’ve had to learn how to cook that way, and It’s fun!
We make many things from scratch, it’s not all that hard, and I think it’s good for us not to have all those artificial ingredients that are in some of the things we buy everyday.
Don’t forget we did intermittent fasting, also.
All that means is, you must fast for 16 hours,and then you will have an 8 hour window in which to eat.
We stop eating and or snacking by 8p.m.
Then we eat from 12 noon to 8 p.m.
Neither one of us is much of a breakfast person, so that
time frame works for us.
Once I hit my target weight, I might ease off it, but I will
be vary attentive to what I am eating, and when!
LOL
Today is the fifth day of steady, solid, at times a downpour, rain. Everlasting, gray rain. No dry periods. No dry clothes either for those of us with solar dryers.

Stitches out. Hand still hurts. It will take some time the doctor said. He wanted to know if I was ready to schedule surgery for the right hand. I told him I will have to think about it. For sure I am not going to do it right now.

Reporting how my best buddy Murphy still “enriches” my life
In vehicle accident at 8 pm +/- after 3 hours at laundromat in King and food shopping.
Morning and early afternoon equally packed with morning of heavy duty work and trip to dump in early afternoon trip to Danbury social services, Jeff’s attorney and my early voting
I’m fine with normal aches and pains - if anything is added I wouldn’t notice it
2 state highway patrolmen professionally and thoroughly handled it
I was on our street - Flat Shoals Rd about 2 miles from home. It was very dark. Huge moon hadn’t yet risen.
I go slow on this street 30-35 MPH due to huge deer population and accidents there
Suddenly in front of me (and I mean close) is a dark vehicle with no lights on horizontal to highway.
I swerved but impacted anyway
Witness coming from other direction confirmed my reporting.
She was backing out of driveway. For some reason didn’t turn on headlights
She was cited and also transported to hospital for evaluation
My witness lives a few miles west on same street and followed me home. Yes the vehicle was considered not drivable - but due to my extraordinary driving skills 😜 we made it (with alarms in van going off, white knuckles, 20MPH , and lotsa prayers)
Needed van home rather than tow to insurance lot. Full of groceries, a LOT OF LAUNDRY, and much more.
Tomorrow will be contacting other insurance agency re loaner vehicle. Heavy duty next few months with important medical procedures for both Jeff and me (my cataract surgery, Jeff’s Paracentesis and much more)
