...She’s vague to the point of vacuous. She struggled to give straight answers to her shifting positions on fracking and border security other than to say, “my values have not changed.” Fine, but she evaded the question of why it took the Biden administration more than three years to gain better control of the border, which it ultimately did through an executive order that could have been in place years earlier. It also doesn’t answer the question of why she reversed her former policy positions — or whether she has higher values other than political expediency.
Harris also relied on a few talking points that may not serve her well in the next two months. She mentioned price gouging, but Americans won’t likely believe that grocery chains with razor-thin profit margins are the real culprit when it comes to their rising food bills. Her $100 billion plan to give first-time home buyers $25,000 in down-payment support is mainly an incentive for ever-higher home prices.
A bigger weakness in the interview was the presence of Harris’s running mate, Tim Walz. Though the Minnesota governor delivered a fine speech at the Democratic National Convention (brightly enhanced by his cheering son Gus), he was transparently evasive in answering Bash’s questions about his misstatement about his military service, false claims about a D.U.I. arrest and misleading statements about his family’s fertility treatments. If there are other lies or untruths in Walz’s record, the campaign ought to get ahead of them now.

Harris did not look confident. She looked nervous, tired and worn out after only one lap in the campaign. Not sure she can weather any storm. She doesn’t have the skills necessary to lead.
Giving two views actually allows readers to make their own minds up. I think it’s actually better than just one view either way.
This is from the NYT? Wow.
Never mind that crap.
He's a flaming socialist and his and Kamala's policies are communism straight up that will kneecap the economy and Americans' finances. ASK ABOUT THAT.
I believe the candidate is all that matters. It’s the letters by their names that no longer matter, they never should have.
“President Harris...fighting to make housing more affordable”

Here’s $25,000. Go out and buy a house for $400,000 before it becomes worth $325,000.
Yup, she’s stupid.
Teleprompter? Which she valued I’m sure. What a pair of losers. Well, trio if you toss Dana in.
Betting Markets Dump Kamala Harris After CNN Interview

The cold, hard world of betting markets framing the outcome of the 2024 presidential election were singularly unimpressed by the showing of Kamala Harris during her CNN interview on Thursday evening.
Newsweek sought the views of two leading bookmakers and this was the outcome of the pre-taped Harris-Walz chat with Dana Bash: The vice president went from being the favorite to win with odds of 10/11 (52.4 percent) on Thursday to tied with Donald Trump on 19/20 (51.3 percent) each on Friday morning, according to the Star Sports betting company.
Over the same period, Trump’s odds of victory in November improved from 21/20 (48.8 percent) before the interview to 20/21 (51.2 percent), according to U.K. based bookmaker Betfair. Thursday’s interview with CNN’s Dana Bash was the first time Harris faced unscripted questions since she was anointed at the Democratic Party nominee and President Joe Biden pushed to the sidelines.(Excerpt) Read more at breitbart.com ...
The funniest part of the interview with Kamala who is touchy about how her name is pronounced, was her mispronunciation of Dan-uh as Dane-uh.
As one who canceled his NYT subscription about 15 years ago, I don’t know how the rest of the paper reads, but my guess is that the interview is the only subject for which a non-leftist perspective was presented. Which makes the opposing person look like a radical, if that’s the only media source one reads.
It’s the letter.
You could run “pile of dog crap on the lawn D-wherever” and lefties would vote for it.
“Oh well,” sez these wretched traitorous cretins, “we can live with Trump. We’ll just lie about him for four years, and give aid and comfort to the deep state as they undermine him. Then it’s Mayor Pete in ‘28!”
I believe the candidate is all that matters. It’s the letters by their names that no longer matter.
True for Rs, not for Ds.
One reason Trump is so popular is that he doesn’t affirmatively ignore his campaign promises, he makes good on them or tries his best to keep them. Kamala’s performance in office won’t change; she’ll still oppose fracking and support an open border. The media will never bring it up. You can take that to the bank.
p
When they say the border is under control, the Dems mean that there are no hordes waiting at the border, but that the migrants are being processed through as fast as possible. Each of them is given a piece of paper Requiring them to show up at an immigration hearing in a few years after they falsely claim need for asylum. Then they are in this country legally .
I do not know why Republicans do not press this issue. It is the reason that cities and states everywhere are flooded with migrants who are harming the possibility of paying for medical care, housing, schools, etc..
I think that each party is referring to a different group of people when they talk about illegal immigrants. Democrats mean only getaways who sneak in between official border entries Republicans mean the getaways plus the hordes that are being allowed into the country by Biden’s policies.
THIS, from the NY TIMES? WOW!
Democrat corruption cabal knows the only2 ways of Kamala EVER is president is death or 25th.
I’ll repost this here:
It’s not the questions. It’s the push back. When Trump gives an answer do they just say, ok and move on? When Vance answers a question do they same, “I see” and move on? No, they push and push and pressure and pressure trying to get them to say something damning. Did they do that? No? Shocking...
Righto
