A Kentucky man who was the first known person to breach the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, has been sentenced to more than four years in prison.
Michael Sparks, 47, was convicted in March by a federal jury in the District of Columbia on all six charges that he faced, including two felony offenses of obstruction of an official proceeding and civil disorder.
On Aug. 27, U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly sentenced Sparks to 53 months in prison and fined him $2,000.

This guy was not one of those who was WA ed in. He came in through a broken window, like a thief.
It may be he was a sucker waved in by the guy who broke the window, or he may have helped break it, but he wasn’t one of the peaceful, innocent crowd who went in on the other side of the building like tourists and wandered around between the velvet ropes.
It is the ones who entered first through the break in who are most likely to be organized by some anarchist group. Those who came later might have been stupid from all the excitement but the first ones in don’t really have an excuse, and there were people in the crowd warning not to break the windows, shouting fed,fed,fed, etc. Those who were involved in the vandalism were the ones who didn’t go to the Trump speech but were there from the beginning, like the Black Lives Matter videographer than CNN paid, etc. It would be interesting to know if this guy had any connection to Epps or had been in protests elsewhere in the country on either side.

I wonder if others preceded him who have not been identified, either because they simply haven’t been recognized or because they were agitators the feds don’t want identified, like the pipe bomber.
He’s already served nearly 4 years.If he’d had a speedy trial he’d be paroled by now.
Bottom line is what they really want. They agitate you. You rebel. You fight back, They want your/our guns.

Trump needs to clean house at the DOJ, FBI and the entirety of the DC bureaucracy.
Congress needs to then dissolve the DC circuit and establish a new circuit in a less partisan venue. The DC courts have demonstrated that you cannot convict a Democrat criminal, but you can convict throngs of innocent Republicans or your average patriot seeking redress peacefully.
This should be a top priority if we can do what must be done this election cycle.

On the other hand, what many people do not know, is that The White House, the Supreme Court Building, and the Capitol are all RESTRICTED AREAS and domains of their respective branches of the federal government.
Any work to break and enter, is going to get a person arrested, charged, and usually found guilty, and then punished. Same for almost every federal government facility.
Yet, at most of those other federal government facilities, there are WARNING SIGNS. While the WARNING around the three HQ’s of the respective federal branches, is expected to be VERY WELL UNDERSTOOD by all.
Pretty difficult for a person to claim, they did not know they were on the grounds of the Capitol, the USSC, or the White House. (Though, most out-of-towners are not likely to recognize the USSC Building.)
Unfortunately, there are enough out-of-towners who live with am impression that they can enter and wander around the Capitol at will.
I visited several decades ago and was surprised to find that Capitol visitors had to have a pass from either their Senator or Representative.
..........and Lt. Michael Byrd, for committing a murder, got to live in a posh government house for many months, police protection, got no indictment, no trial and is still employed if not promoted.
And, Ashli is dead! That’s a Liberal/corrupt/marxist government for you. There was no justifiable reason to murder Ashli. Byrd should be in Florence and I hope Trump puts him there.

I saw the video and they walked in peacefully.
And the person who shattered the window was an Antifa person. I saw two of them break the window (on video from RSBN ). I heard several patriots shouting “It’s Antifa!” over and over while trying to pull the Antifa persons back out of the window. The Patriots were overcome by Antifa. Not a single Patriot broke anything that day. I also saw the cops inviting the Patriots in the front door.
