Pennsylvania Secret Service chief Timothy Burke is among five agents put on ‘administrative duties’ as part of a probe into failures that allowed 20-year-old Thomas Crooks to shoot Donald Trump last month.
Burke is the Special Agent in Charge (SAIC) of the Secret Service Pittsburgh field office, and has been in the role since at least 2016.
When reached by phone, Burke, 48, told DailyMail.com said he could not comment on the case.

They have identified their fall guy.
But they are all still being paid for light duty. Right? They have identified the fall guy and now it is just a matter of time before they throw him to something.
The Democrat Party Organized Crime Syndicate has crooks in the Secret Service and FBI.
I wonder if they’re suspended for allowing an assassin a clear shot at Trump... or punished for failing to kill him? One wonders???
Obviously this is the penalty for the attempt failing.
This is the guy who had complete oversight of the event security. He decided on the roof top counter snipers, (first time for Trump), as well as not communicating with local police.
My hunch is that this guy is dirty.
No one up the line did anything wrong?
> They have identified their fall guy.
Under the bus he goes!
He’s listed in Linkedin as a retired FBI agent.
Does anyone have access to a video of the June 13 showing SS agents several seconds before the shooting, scurrying and ducking, as if they knew something was about to happen?
I saw the clip the day of the shooting. One of the agents is seen trying to corral the other agents, as if to get them out of harms way. They were all to the left of the platform where Trump was speaking, then the quickly moved to the front and the then to far right of the stage.
He has an alibi. He was attending Dr Jill’s hastily planned fundraiser of invited guests at the time of the botched assassination attempt.

I’m a little surprised they went that high up. I expected the fall guy to be the guy who was in charge of site communications. Or maybe the liaison guy between the Secret Service and the local police.
Or maybe the janitor at the Pittsburgh office.
They’ve said the site commander was female. Let’s see the “gender” of those suspended.
Interesting resemblance between Burke and Crooks.
That’s right. We were supposed to forget that little nugget.
“..He decided on the roof top counter snipers..”
Why “counter sniper?” Rules of engagement that allow the assassin to take he first shot. It seems to me the Secret Service, tasked with protecting lives, should be first to engage.
