Filmmaker Spike Lee said Wednesday on CNN’s “The Situation Room” that he got “side-eye” and questions about former President Donald Trump when he traveled abroad during his term.
On the floor of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Lee said, “I wanted to be here. This is not history, this is herstory. She’s going to be the first woman to be President of this United States of America. Blended family, you know, the whole Howard University, HBCU, you know. So, this is an amazing moment in the history of these United States of America. And we got to go — we got to go forward, not backwards. We got to go forward. We got to advance. You know, bring up equity around this nation, where we will lead the world.”

Years ago I rubbed shoulders with the diminutive Spike Lee while navigating my way through the old Yankee Stadium’s VERY crowded concessions corridors. I gave Spike the side-eye. He’s a weird looking dude…

Spike Lee: During Trump’s Term the ‘World Was Looking at Us with Side-Eye, Like, WTF?’
So, Spike sees a fellow democrat traveler who looks baffled at what Trump accomplished, and he goes and extrapolates that one person's bafflement and extrapolates that to mean 'the world'?
It's the same way that democrat 'leaders' take license by saying, 'the American people agree with us', when in reality, most Americans probably disagree. When any democrat says 'most Americans', you know that what follows is a big fat lie. When Spike says 'the world', you know that he's making it up and that it's a big fat lie.

That’s all they got.
But for liberals such superficialities are all they need.

The last good flick he directed was He Got Game. I think his early success went to his head.

Better than pointing their fingers and laughing their butts off like they are now.
Real knee-slappers, too.
Some of them are pointing their fingers at morons like you, Spike.
Shame you didn’t notice.

When Napoleon first rose to power, many European aristocrats viewed him with a mixture of curiosity and disdain. As a man of relatively humble origins who had risen through military prowess, he was seen as an outsider and upstart by the established nobility.
As Napoleon’s power grew, the aristocracy increasingly saw him as a dangerous threat to their traditional privileges and way of life. His military conquests and the spread of revolutionary ideals across Europe alarmed many nobles who feared losing their status and lands.
