She memorably took down Kamala Harris in a viral debate exchange in 2019 and now former Hawaii congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard has been enlisted by former president Trump to give him some valuable insights ahead of his upcoming debates against the 2024 Democratic nominee.

Gabbard, who ran for president in the 2020 Democratic primary, has been recruited by Trump to help him sharpen his preparation ahead of the debates, Fox News Digital has learned.

Good.

However I still firmly believe she should be your Vice President, sir.

Move what’s his name to Secretary of State.

Tulsi Gabbard should be Vice President.

😎

Tulsi is not MAGA. VP should be MAGA. If Tulsi is VP, and Trump were shot, we’d have a non-Republican as standard bearer of the Republican Party, and one whose historical positions do not line up with conservatives for the most part.

Trump is less likely to be killed with Vance as the heir, as he would be mostly MAGA.

“… for the most part”? The list of her leftist positions has been posted here many times. Having a leftist as no. 2 to an octogenarian president is textbook loopy

The pick for VP is history, same as the primary; both are now ancient history. Gabbard has a lot to offer in debate prep and since Trump has clearly made up with Haley, she should be there as well. Outsiders to help with debate prep. I think great.

Tulsi will win.

Absolutely. 100%.

Vance “might”. He brings nobody to the ticket. Kick him upstairs, we need to win.

For real.

Tulsi will win.

If Tulsi wins, MAGA loses.

Please spare us talk of kicking Vance "upstairs". You want to kick him out. Pretending it is a promotion is disingenuous. Vance is a needed addition to the ticket, and he will land issue-based body blows and counter-punch effectively.

Tulsi Gabbard is the best candidate, far and away.

Trump, wait until this weekend.

But then, in my view, it is time to move Ms. Gabbard onto the ticket.

I’m glad that he seems to be taking the debates seriously as it’s likely to be the only examination of Harris before the election.

Does anyone know if the mic cut rules still apply? I feel like they kept Trump focused last time, and they’ll allow his moronic opponent to spew her valley girl word salads uninterrupted, which is a good thing. She also loves to do this girl boss “I’m speaking now” routine whenever she’s interrupted which was pretty effective and disarming in the debate vs Pence.

Tulsi could have added some not-MAGA voters in 2024.
Vance brings no additional voters.

Priority in 2024 is a Trump win.
If Trump loses, it won’t matter didly squat who the VP was on ticket.

It seems to me that Gabbard’s ability to take Harris down back in 2019 is not that relevant since they were talking about totally different things that time.

The key to winning the debate is correctly anticipating what Harris will say, including lies, and having well rehearsed, detailed and sharp refutations. Maybe Gabbard can help some with that, but that’s mainly something researchers are supposed to do.

For example even mainstream media, including CNN and the Washington Post have said pretty devastating things about her price control plan. One of Obama’s economic advisors even trashed it.

An effective Trump response would repeat what they said and who said it. For example “Obama administration economist Jason Furman said it is not sensible policy” and “CNN economics commentator Catherine Rampell said it will lead to shortages” etc.

It requires a certain amount of memorization and rehearsal though. The problem is Trump doesn’t do that. Bringing Gabbard in wouldn’t solve that problem.

She was a Democrat (had to be one to get elected in Hawaii) and did/does have some ideological positions that I don’t support. One is an American’s ‘need’ for an AR/AK rifle. He doesn’t ‘need’ a reason, period.

That said, I’ve seen her more recently in interviews with Megyn Kelly and she is 100% against a Que-mala Presidency and says nothing bad about Trump. She would be a devastating advocate against Harris if she were ‘brought in’ somewhere in Trump’s advance list of administration help right now. But not with the Vice Presidency, IMO.

We are talking about debate prep here. Above anything else we know that Tulsi is competent. I mean She is a Lt Colonel in the United States Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command United States Army Reserve. You don’t earn that rank without being able to perform. She deserves our respect at the minimum. She’ll bring the ‘harris’ 100% as required to prepare President Trump for the debate. She’ll bring the hyena laughing and the dimwitted scripted responses and even the nasally voice.

I think she’s a good choice for Debate Prep.

Trump would definitely win if he named Hillary Clinton as his VP.
