Iran’s “supreme leader” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned his underlings in a meeting on Wednesday that making a “nontactical retreat” would meet the “divine wrath” of Allah as the world awaits a highly touted attack by Tehran on neighboring Israel.
Iranian officials have been boasting that they would attack Israel for all of August following the elimination of Hamas “political” chief Ismail Haniyeh on July 31. Haniyeh was killed by a yet-unexplained explosion in his lodgings in Tehran, which he was visiting to attend the inauguration of President Masoud Pezeshkian. Iran is believed to be one of the top funders and political supporters of Hamas, the genocidal terrorist organization responsible for the massacre, torture, and abduction of hundreds of Israeli civilians in an unprecedented siege on October 7.

“Divine wrath” does not necessarily act on behalf of Allah.
Other deities have been sworn and attested to by people of the Middle East, some of them relatively benign, others so full of fire they end up consuming themselves, and still others that comport themselves in counsel and wisdom distilled from the experience of tribal elders that recalled what worked, and what could not be made to work, for the serenity and prosperity of their followers.
It is not for the highly prejudiced of men to define and apply the intent of the deity, and to arrogate this duty to themselves is height of fantasy and conceit.
The Ayatollah should grab a Kalashnikov and lead the way against Israel.

Despite the rhetoric and the bluster Iran may not be too anxious to actually attack Israel. They do not have the weapnery or capability. When they have made a direct attack, it has failed. Afterwards their supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei has seen the people around him ( the President of Iran and his enterogue, senior Revolutionary Guard generals and officers, Hamas and Hezbollah leaders and many others) Turn into corpses. The Ayatollah may have some doubts becoming a martyr himself.
Also this guy is probably frustrated as well as fearful. He gave a direct order to attack Israel and thus far nothing has happened. Hence the rhetoric invoking a denial of heaven to those who disobey his order.
The Iranian people have today the very government their parents and grandparents rioted for back in 1978.

Iran is struggling to get a working nuke they can deploy . They may be right there with it ans will use it immediately once it’s sure to be deliverable. IDF should hit them first. Just cut lose and end the Iran regime , once and for all.
