Security and Strategic Affairs Analyst Faiz Al-Asmar claimed that the delay in Iran’s attack has caused it to lose the element of surprise, strengthening Israel, during an interview with the Saudi Al-Hadath channel.
He said, "In terms of the situation on the ground, it can be said that Iran and Hezbollah's delay in responding to the deaths of Ismail Haniyeh and Fuad Shukr have so far allowed Israel and the US to strengthen their position on the ground and use all means available. There is currently a warship that has recently arrived in the area. All of this has given Israel and the US the opportunity to increase their strength and deploy the necessary defense measures to repel the attack. As a result, Iran has essentially lost the most significant element in modern warfare, which is the element of surprise.”
"The statements of the leadership in Iran are part of a propaganda war designed to sow anxiety and fear in the Israeli public," he continued.

...well they are not Arabs, they pretty much hate the Arabs, so I doubt that ‘being humiliated in the Arab world’ is really a thing, for them.
However, the Iranian Mullahs covet the unobtainable Mecca.
There must be Iranian hegemony in orfer to control the Holy Sites in Mecca

What is the need for surprise with hypersonics?
The last time Iran sent slow moving drones that took abokut 6-7 hours to get to Israel. While all those targets filled the sky, Iran parked a generations old missile on an Israeli military base. There was no element of surprise needed.
Shoigu was very recently in Iran and shipments were arriving in Iran. Iran may be sporting some S-400's and some Russian missile tech such as Iskanders. Iran also has its own hypersonic missile, the Fattah.

Iranian surprise attack??? You mean like the last Iranian “surprise” attack when Iran launched hundreds drones that took several hours to reach Israeli air space and were all shot down kind of attack?
What the hell is going on?
Indeed He does.
These idiots are going to find out the hard way that He Who watches over Israel does not slumber or sleep and letting their mouths write checks that their fannies can’t cash is a very bad idea.
He will cash those checks and they will NOT like the payout.
Ezekiel 38 and 39
It can’t be easy to manufacture hypersonic missiles. The must fly at speeds exceeding 800 miles/hr, they usually weigh over 15,000 pounds, must have perfectly constructed aerodynamic and balanced encasement, adequate propulsion and payload and a reliable guidance system. They would also have to be tested and modified as needed. The Russians apparently have succeeded in deploying some but not many. The Iranians did manage to produce some effective drones. However if they are actually producing hypersonic missiles or even prototypes, there have been no reports that the US military has detected any firings or tests within Iran. Suspect if they had any, they would have already fired them.
Israel might just pre-empt Iran and Hezbollah, and cut the ahead off the hydra.
