As Georgia prepares for the 2024 presidential election with implementing new rules and procedures, some unresolved 2020 election disputes remain, with the State Election Board opening an investigation into an issue it previously closed.
Heading into this year's presidential election cycle, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is implementing election security measures as the Georgia State Election Board is enacting new rules that could impact the November election and investigating 2020 presidential election issues.
On Wednesday, the SEB voted to request that state GOP Attorney General Chris Carr reopen an investigation into Fulton County's counting of the results of the 2020 election.

Let's see what AG Chris Carr does with the referral.
There are a handful of Republican good guys [and gals] in the state, but there are many, many Pubbie grifters.
Kemp stands on the backs of Georgians to piss on the rest of America.
Odd that the Trump team was charged by Big Fanny for asking these same questions.
Ha! Ha! Ha! Kemp has already put out the word that there will be no more fraud investigations.
And in Fulton County, the Fulton County Board Chair, Sherri Allen, said, “We will not engage in any further discussions, investigations, or other actions related to the 2020 (election) case.”
So don’t hold your breath. The last thing Kemp, Raffensperger, and Carr want to do is find more than 11,779 illegal votes cast in Fulton County’s 2020 presidential election.
ping on cheating Ruby
Following the SEB meeting, Raffensperger, a Republican, posted on his X account Wednesday morning: “Georgia's Election Integrity Act requires counties to certify the election results by November 12th and we fully anticipate that counties will follow the law.”
Does he mean that no matter if fraud is evident, counties HAVE to certify their election results by November 12th anyway? One would think he would add a qualifier that counties must insure their results are certifiable. What's the reason for certification if not to attest the results are true, correct, and without fraud?
“ping on cheating Ruby”
A pox on cheating Ruby.
There.... fixed it.
Corrupt elections will lower turnout faster than ID mandate.
What this years Olympics is telling me, is that the growing interest people are showing in ID is motivating the Left to destroy all value in Identification. Men are competing as women in the Olympics because they have passports that say they are women.
The disgusting abuse of children in America calling itself “transitioning” is ensuring that identification of sex will be meaningless for many Americans in the future.
We will have Voter ID and National ID when ID no longer means anything.
To stick to your point (a little late, after my rant ;-) corrupt elections are definitely going to demotivate the only people whose votes actually have value.
I've always been of the opinion that election winners, i.e those that are in power, are not about to go the extra mile to investigate whether their victory was anything other than 100% legitimate.
Therefore, nothing is likely to come of these “investigations.”
As a Georgia election official I can only hope and pray this moves forward for real.
What we witnessed and what evidence appears to show is multiple violations of election law.
Every time the polls open, like for a primary, early voting, or election day, we are sworn in. Raise your right hand; the whole bit. Election managers and assistant managers swear to the same and more with the understanding that failure to do X Y and Z are FELONIES.
What is finally coming.to light is multiple felonies particularly in Fulton county.
You can’t LEGALLY just blow it off on lack of training, under staffing or the perennial Democrat song of ‘mistakes were made and those are old news.’ IF pursued for real, multiple people need to be charged with various for-real felonies.
The good news is that for 2024 GA has instituted a required paper trail (digital and analog) as well as changes to absentee balloting that either make cheating really hard, or really easy to uncover.
In GA it’s going to come down to ballots cast.
SO EVERYONE VOTE!
“The good news is that for 2024 GA has instituted a required paper trail (digital and analog) as well as changes to absentee balloting that either make cheating really hard, or really easy to uncover.”
Thanks. I’m glad to hear that about Georgia. I’ve also read about several other states which seem to have taken measures to tighten up their election laws.
Of course, it always boils down to implementation.
And enforcement.
Can be hard to enforce in Fulton and deKalb because racism if you even criticized anyone.
So Kemp signed off on this corrupt nonsense. What a governor!!
As far as I know, it wasn’t Raffensperger who called for the look back at the 2020 election doings. Far from it as I see it. IMO, it was he who engineered the absentee ballot cheating by signing the consent decree with Democrats. He didn’t care if the signatures on the registration or ballot requests matched or not.
It’s up to the State Elections Board and the state AG now to pursue. The only good thing about it is that Raffensperger is now on notice and we are acutely aware of the crap he could potentially try and pull. Fool me once..............
Good evidence that could have the case dropped.
