Former President Donald Trump has maintained his lead over Vice President Kamala Harris, and support for Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s independent campaign continues to decline.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that, in a two-way matchup, 49% of Likely U.S. Voters would vote for Trump, while 44% would vote for Harris. Four percent (4%) say they’d vote for some other candidate and three percent (3%) are undecided. These findings are nearly unchanged from a week ago, which was the second survey since President Joe Biden announced he would withdraw his reelection bid.
But Newsweek is quoting, “....The survey, conducted by Marquette Law School between July 24 and August 1, shows that when third party candidates are included, Harris leads among likely voters with 50 percent of the vote to Trump's 42 percent. The surge by Harris has improved the Democrats’ position since May, when Trump was leading with 44 percent of the vote to Joe Biden's 41 percent.....”
Other MSM media are saying that Trump is doomed and that his campaign is in full panic mode.
Maybe this election should really be about 4 things: Information honesty and who a voter can believe; The economy; The Democrats abandonment of borders and the immigration problem; The Democratic Party's “anti-democracy” (or threat to Democracy) policies (change Supreme Court, change voting laws, favor non-citizens voting, Biden not saying a peaceful turn over of power if Harris looses, a certain Democrat saying the Congress will prevent the will of the people's choice is Trump wins by not allowing him to be inaugurated).
Democrats can't have it both ways.

This would great for them if Walz came out. Too many sickos in both parties who would see this as a plus.

Harris is the worst democrat candidate for the Presidency since Dukakis. She’s also the dumbest Presidential candidate in United States history. I don’t like Hillary Clinton but at least she had a human brain in her head instead of a peanut.
Harris may set back “feminist supremacy” by at least a decade, after she crashes & burns this November.

I do think Trump needs to stop trolling Harris about her ethnicity and focus on her policies.
He should also start asking: Why isn’t she talking?

I lived in Boston back then, and all the liberals that I knew were so dejected and I was so jazzed!
The left has always been trying to bribe the public into voting dem using taxpayer funding.
I remember when they passed Medicare back in ‘65, took effect in ‘66. They were hoping to offset the discontent over Viet Nam for the ‘68 election.

What make’s Rasmussen that more reliable poll compared to the others?
Red line? I doubt it. People in this country will happily die the continuing death of a thousand cuts so long as they can have their comforts and their threshold for satisfaction isn't very high or ambitious and does not even come close to being high minded. The rest of us are too scattered to matter.
Need a 5% spread to counter the cheating.
