Kamala Harris has taken a five-point lead in a head-to-head matchup with Donald Trump, according to a new nationwide poll.
The Marquette University survey also found that when third party candidates including Robert F. Kennedy and Cornel West are added, Harris has an eight-point advantage.
The shocking results show Harris continues to see a bump in popularity after President Joe Biden announced he wasn't running.

The “polls” are conducted by the media. Stop believing this propaganda. This is what they do, they want you demoralized. Look at every “news” story. “Polls” are no different.
The polls will be even worse after a week of worship by the MSM during their convention.
Marquette is ranked as the third most accurate pollster in the nation.
The methodology hasn't been published yet, but looking at the actual number makes this another pointless poll that means little.

“The survey was conducted July 24-Aug. 1, 2024, interviewing 879 registered voters nationwide, with a margin of error of +/-4.1 percentage points. For likely voters, the sample size is 683 with a margin of error of +/-4.7 percentage points. “
I'm sorry, but this “poll” indicates nothing more than a result that was preordained prior to its commission, IMO.
When taking surveys I always lie. When filling out my age, my race and my preferences.. I even do this when they come by to do the U.S. Census.
Per the data in the actual survey
The poll sample population is 339 Republican to 370 Democrat with 53 independent.
That’s 49% Democrat, 44% Republican and 7% Independent.
He is supposedly the anti Trump.
That is he is everything Trump is not.
Thoughtful..non combative..not a name caller.
And he’s a country bumkin and not urbane.
It’s also 52% female to 45% male respondents

More than 70% of the population never heard of him. I’d say it’s closer to 90%.
So, what you hear about him is so unreal, that you have to think it’s fake, but true be told, the far left love this guy. I mean they truly love this guy.
Everyone els, ie guys and gals like us, are appalled by what he’s done and what he stands for.
It seems like to me that some "pro-lifers" are getting lazy and either don't want to do the hard work at the state and local level but would rather complain.

During Aug polls should swing limp in a light wind. Once the kids get back to school the quacks, the crossdressers, the incompetent and the ill-informed start back affecting local politics the fire of the right is born again. The move towards trump is local outwards, get the K-12 administrators doing what they do, we will have a social issues of the useful idiot party explode into general population minds again in september.
