Vice President Kamala Harris got enough delegate votes Friday in the virtual roll call process to become the official Democratic nominee.
The deadline for DNC delegates to turn in their electronic ballot is on Monday, but by Friday afternoon, Harris already had the majority of delegate support secured.
“I am so proud to confirm that Vice President Harris has earned more than a majority of votes from all convention delegates and will be the nominee of the Democratic Party following the close of voting on Monday,” DNC chair Jaime Harrison said in a call.
“The outpouring of support we have witnessed for the Vice President has been unprecedented. We knew your ballots would come back quickly.”
Harris called into the Delaware HQ to celebrate and said she will accept the nomination after the deadline eclipses on Monday.
“Of course I will officially accept your nomination next week once the virtual voting period is closed, but already I’m happy to know that we have enough delegates to secure the nomination. And later this month, we will gather in Chicago, united as one party where we’re going to have an opportunity to celebrate this historic moment together,” Harris said.

Harris’ route to the top of the ticket is historically unprecedented, given that she assumed the nomination despite never winning a single Democratic party primary. The VP ran for the Dem nomination in 2020, but dropped out before the Iowa caucuses.

Biden/Harris are loathe to lower taxes yet uses tax money to prop up leftist activities that have nothing to do with military capability and the safety and security of American families.
Yes, people, Biden/Harris are apparently ramping up the IRS’ ability to collect more taxes. This is a higher Biden priority than deterring the nation’s adversaries and building a sufficiently sized and capable military to protect the people who pay for it.
The Biden/Harris administration’s plan is to protect defense contractors’ companies that support defense industry “investments.”
FYI-—Last year, the Pentagon couldn’t properly account for a whopping 61% of its $3.5 trillion in assets. That figure increased this year, with the department insufficiently documenting 63% of its now $3.8 trillion in assets.
Military contractors possess many of these assets, but to an extent unbeknownst to the Pentagon ........ and to Biden/Harris.
The next thing will be she says she is the result of virgin birth.
I seem to recall way back when, Biden wanted to have the votes taken early before the convention, the mainstream cried out it was usurping the democratic process! And now that very thing is done by Kamala and, not a word. The media is the true enemy of the people.

this utter and complete disenfranchising of the D party voters and faithful supporters....totally throwing them under the bus....shows the contempt in which the DNC political machine bosses hold Americans and Democrat voters.
