LOL he isn’t going anywhere. The Cuban mercenaries occupying the country will not allow it.
So is Venezuela just changing thug dictators?
Agreed. Dictators and communists never voluntarily relinquish power.
I wonder why Pinochet is so admired? He wasn’t any better than the Commies. It is simply Hitler Light vs Stalin Light.
Edmundo, you’ve got some splaining to do.....
Jimmy Carter’s Carter Center was an election monitor in the 2000 election in Venezuela. The exit pols were the same, with Chavez having lost by around a 2 to 1 margin.
Low and behold, the ‘official’ results were that Chavez won and the Carter organization said it was a clean and honest election.
There is no limit to the damage virtue-signaling buffoons like Carter can inflict.
To the bus driver, Good Riddance. Or, as Kimmel would say, “Riddance.”
Pinochet was a bad dude—but the Commies really were worse.
He didn’t harm the people to the same extent. Pinochet allowed the free market to operate. People didnt starve under him.
Sorry, fellows, but this take is not supported by anything. He killed left and right, many of the supposed communists were people his henchmen looked to rob and his economy was corrupt to boot.
Are we supposed to compare body counts?
Lol.
Blood bath and beyond!
I answered the question as asked. The people didn’t starve and the free market operated. Under Maduro, thousands were still killed, but he also starved the people and there are no goods in the market.
This will get sporty when the new giv tries to expel Russians, Cubans and Iranians.
“Venezuela needs a Pinochet.”
Free helicopter rides!
So did the CIA manage to save our democracy down there.
How many have the communists killed in Chile?
Some starved, others didn’t. Which part of the Venezuelan troubles are due to leftist and which is due the sanctions?
It turns out all Exit Polls in Venezuela are illegal. Even the Maduro opposition is rejecting this poll. Nothing like this is permitted to be released before official numbers — and the opposition agrees.
With those polls, he will only get 97% of the official vote. Sad for him.
