Last Friday, the city of Paris held their openin ceremony at the Olympic Games 2024 but the entire show had a mixed reaction from people. While many were absolutely thrilled for the excellent level of the presentation, many even called it impossible to surpass. The more conservative and religious parts of the population that saw this event were completely outraged at some of the symbolism that was presented there. There was a spoof of the famous Leonardo Da Vinci painting, 'The Last Supper' but there were people in drag dancing and there was a strange appearance from the Greek God Dionisius. However, the most shocking imagery for people was the horseman that appeared galloping on water with a white figure riding it. A day after this presentation, the entire city of Paris experienced a massive blackout.
This occurance does have a mundane explanation to what could've happened despite the constant cries of 'divine justice'. All of these ideas of the Olympic Games presentation being some type of satanic ritual are believed mostly by the most religious people who saw it. For people who don't believe, this was an artistic presentaiton with some of the most incredible production levels ever seen in Olympic Games history. Plus, a mundane explanation of what probably happened is that the production level required immense amounts of electricity and the city of Paris' electrical grid may have been affected by this.
But this backout is being celebrated by religious believers because they felt that their religions were attacked with the parodies that were presented there. It's true, the imagery shared there and the many references dialed up to eleven were definitely offensive for a lot of people. These people who celebrate Paris is in complete darkness should also think about the potential danger of an antire city with so much people in it that could unsue. We already have multiple reports of crimes being committed even when the lights are on, the danger of that multiplying with no lights is very real. What caused the outage remains unclear but we should find out soon enough.

It certainly is feasible and makes sense that they’d mock Him in more than one way.
Maybe add something about scoffers and mockers, there are many verses, 2 Peter 3:3 is one.

This fits with “revelations” that I have received myself — and I’m not the only one — that much of the symbolism in “The Revelation” applies to the features (and evils) of transhumanism. I am given to believe that “the” Antichrist will be a transhuman “creation” and will “rule” in a virtual world that has attracted many real human souls to occupy it.

Visited Paris in 2015; it had not descended so far into godlessness a decade ago. Was blessed to visit both Notre Dame cathedral (and pray there), and also Sacre Coeur. In spite of the obvious spiritual impact of “visitors” vs worshippers, both cathedrals were steeped in the presence of the Spirit.

Agreed. Start to finish, the ceremony was antichrist. And it is not accidental. It is very important that the transhuman globalists thoroughly discredit their “competitor”, who is Creator God, the Lord of Hosts, and Jesus Christ, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Of course, given over to delusion as they are (Romans 1:28-32), they do not — they CANNOT — see the utter folly of raising themselves up in opposition to Almighty God. (Psalm 2)
Sacred Coeur Church is a beautiful church. I visited there in Sep ‘06 on a R&R out of Iraq. It was a cool, humid, overcast day. I spent around 6 hours inside and out. I laid down on the cool grass, looked up at the sky and just relaxed, for hours. A perfect remedy a year in Iraq.
