Vice President Kamala Harris may have made it more difficult to close a hostage deal, a startled senior Israeli official said after hearing the remarks she issued to the press late Thursday afternoon.
“We hope that it won’t make it harder to achieve a hostage deal because it gives the appearance of day light between Israel and the United States,” the official said.
Harris surprised Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and those close to him by issuing her statement, which she also placed on X shortly after her hour-long meeting with him.

Harris only met with Bibi because he will be meeting with Trump . Her snub of his speech was step one, this meeting was to message Michigan through the nuance of the discussion that she is not a supporter without coming out saying it.
The Dems are using the Clinton approach of depends on what the meaning of is......

Easy enough to say Harris was never the Border Czar after sufficient time has passed & she never actually acted in that manner anyway. But...I’ve been around long enough to recall what was actually said at the time & I believe she was said to have been appointed as being in charge of getting things straightened out at the border, which in fact she never accomplished. Either way, she failed to get anything worthwhile done at the border & she had lots of time to try.

If the “deal” is successfully concluded will all the dead hostages be returned or only some of them?
