This is actually a quick read and interesting discussion covering a range of topics involving the Supreme Court. It's worth a read.

How about you start interpreting the law instead of taking orders on how you’re going to rule.

Uh, we’re not exactly talkin’ the bright star of the S Court.
More like a burnt out asteroid.
Sorta like CNN’s status in the media world.

Read what she says. Her concern is that there are recently too many and they muddy up decisions, which will have negative consequences in the future. Makes sense.

Yes, she’s unhappy with rulings. Sounds like she’s not totally rejecting Chevron, just concern with abrupt impact. Now sure how they’d do anything less.

The problem with SCOTUS is they LOVE to hear cases to "set policy", and then they usually do nothing when the lower courts violate that policy. It's a much more boring job to rein in renegade decisions, but very necessary. If the constitution functioned as intended, Congress would be setting the policies, addressing the lacuna in the law, etc., and not SCOTUS.

All government elected and hired or appointed should meet the same standards. From the executive, the two houses, judixary, and all departments and agencies.

Yeah, they are a bit selective about what concerns them. I cannot see how they establish oversight since they are top of the food chain. It seems like anything would require a constitutional amendment.

yep, all this talk is just bs, since they themselves will get to decide if any limits are constitutional, which they wont.
They will continue to police themselves. Liberal is just mad that she doesn’t get to decide to exclude conservatives from any case she wants.

Kagan knows there’s no enforcement for Dems in the DC Swamp.
Write all the rules you want, they won’t apply to her. Simple
Look at Classified Docs and Joe Biden, Comey, and Pence.

I too believe Elana should be careful about wishful desires.
Who knows? Next we may even put in place a test on her ability to read. . . . And heaven above, we may even require Justices to demonstrate their ability to LOGICALLY express what she actually read.
Someone who can't express what the WORDS say over 90% needs to resign. Reminds me of bad cops.

I do think they should be under the rule no more than a ten dollar gift can be accepted. If they get a physical gift that is more than ten dollars, they have to donate it to the US government. It’s ridiculous for them to accept trips, prizes and other Bennie’s. They make more than enough money for the work they do.
