he FBI’s director has revealed that investigators still do not know whether it was a bullet or some shrapnel which grazed Donald Trump’s ear during his attempted assassination.
Christopher Wray told a marathon session of the US House Judiciary Committee that the FBI was still working to determine exactly what hit the former president’s ear during the shooting.
“My understanding is that either it [a bullet] or some shrapnel is what grazed his ear,” he said.

Exactly right. It was a stupid comment by Wray. Of course, Wray also doesn’t know the difference between cartridge and a casing. His idiocy was on full display.

The bullet streak in the photo looks a little low to have grazed Trump’s upper ear.
Videos of both teleprompters after the attack show them intact, so the idea that a bullet hit a teleprompter and then a glass shard from them hit Trum is bogus.
At the urging of Obama, Biden (Jill), and other treasonous Democrats. It's a bullet wound to the ear, taking out almost a quarter of flesh and spilling blood. There were multiple shooters, and the FBI is covering up their involvement.

From the audio recording from the mic on stage - the crack of the round is the bullet breaking the sound barrier, the bullet is traveling faster than sound, and the actual sound wave occurs long after the crack sound. The first bullet may have passed by Trump's head, and his ear may have been hit by the 2nd round. Or vice versa. By the time President Trump raised his hand to his ear, the first few rounds had already passed his position. God was helping him survive that day.
I'm not partial to conspiracy theory but this does seem like the stage was set for the snuff film of the century. It wouldn't have been CNN's first exclusive scoop -- a few years ago they "just happened to be" at the pre-dawn arrest of Roger Stone.
Even if it did hit a teleprompter, they were to his left, not his right. His head blocked any shrapnel. It would be somewhat believable if it had been his left ear, but it wasn’t.

I stand corrected. I do know that the audible report of a supersonic round arrives behind the bullet. I went back and listened to the forensic analysis again. The first three rounds arrived before Trump got down out of sight (forensics indicate .22 seconds of separation between each of those first three muffled rounds). Then, about 2.5 seconds elapses and there is the next floury of 5 rounds which now points in the direction of Crooks. So, if the SS service sniper was glassing Crooks on the roof at this time why wasn’t Crooks taken out at least after the first 3 seconds? Unfortunately, it suggests the SS sniper was directed to hold fire for maximum shooter effect on the target. Only after an outrageous lapse of 16 seconds did the SS sniper shoot Crooks. I want to see a legitimate autopsy on Crooks to explain why the round took out most of his teeth? Also what was Crooks rifle over ten feet from the body? The SS delay likely resulted in Comperatore being killed and the other two attendees being injured. I agree with you that Trump was a mighty blessed guy to survive the attempted assassination.
Wow, I didn't know that. Big destructive round! I was listening to various accounts of experts that dissed Democrat assertions that President Trump was grazed, perhaps by glass. No, the experts said Crook's bullets pierced the ear, making a hole and President Trump lost up to a quarter of his ear mass. If Trump had been shot by a round similar to the SS sniper the damage would certainly be more devastating than a hole in the ear. Yikes.
Yep that could be- but when i heard their glass hypothesis, i watched the monitor to Trump’s right and never saw it move or saw any damage to it, and the fella that got the photo of the speeding bullet was using a very fast camera, which would have caught any flying glass which of course woudl have been much slower than the bullet-
