The ongoing controversy surrounding diversity, equity and inclusion has spilled over into the 2024 presidential race with Vice President Kamala Harris on the path to becoming the Democratic nominee.
Earlier this week, Tennessee Republican Rep. Tim Burchett suggested in an interview with CNN’s Manu Raju that President Joe Biden chose Harris as a running mate because she was a Black woman.
“100% she is a DEI hire,” Burchett said.
Supporters have defended Harris, who, if elected, would become the nation’s first female president.
In an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, UN ambassador Susan Rice called the attacks from Republicans “extremely offensive and dehumanizing.”
Rice said the attacks insinuate that people from marginalized groups who achieve success or rise to leadership roles didn’t earn it.
“That is incredibly insulting,” Rice said........
CNN interviewed seven DEI experts and industry leaders and asked each to define diversity, equity and inclusion. Although their responses varied slightly, most had a shared vision for what constitutes DEI:
– Diversity is embracing the differences everyone brings to the table, whether it’s someone’s race, age, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, physical ability or other aspects of social identity.
– Equity is treating everyone fairly and providing equal opportunities.
– Inclusion is respecting everyone’s voice and creating a culture where people from all backgrounds feel encouraged to express their ideas and perspectives......
“DEI is just another word for racism. Shame on anyone who uses it,” Musk wrote in his post.

Critical Race Theory (CRT). Our pastor did a two-hour educational series on it. IIRC, it was “invented” back in Germany by the marxists in the early 20th century. I forget all of the details, but something about how the people wouldn’t fight for the ideas of the state, as much as they would fight for their “homeland”. Their land, but also their people.
CRT was one more way to cause social conflict and make the people either beholden to their rulers, or to foment revolution.

This is wrong avenue of attack. Don’t attack her as being DEI, attack here as being impeachment insurance, a woman so dangerously unqualified no one would dare remove Biden.

I think DEI took a huge blow when all the world saw the incompetence in the video of Trump being shot. Cheatle made a big about it.

She's right, except she has the wrong target. It was Biden who publicly stated that he would limit his VP candidate pool to only black women. It is he who is the "offensive and dehumanizing one, not Republicans.
DEI, affirmative action on steroids. When a person can accept a position soley on the color of thier skin and nothing else what does this say about this person?

As for the communists, basically the narcissist emperor wants to be worshiped as a god, and so it cannot stand the “crutch system” of money loophole which makes the emperor look not capable of solving our problems thus allowing us to solve those on our own, Lutheran reformation style.

My corporation just about plainly admitted their fascist brute enforcement of DEI as a means to put people into certain pavlovian dog habits by repetition and stamping in the brain neuronal system deeper and deeper by repetition a way of making us uncomfortable doing anything against DEI “habits”.
The ultimate goal is “collaboration”. A big buzz word in these big fascist corporations which keep insisting on using the word despite employees telling them that this word dates back from socialists and the Nazi regime method of creating a rat capo system.
