Benjamin Netanyahu’s presentation in the House Chamber today was by far the worst presentation of any foreign dignitary invited and honored with the privilege of addressing the Congress of the United States.
Many of us who love Israel spent time today listening to Israeli citizens whose families have suffered in the wake of the October 7th Hamas terror attack and kidnappings.
These families are asking for a ceasefire deal that will bring the hostages home – and we hope the Prime Minister would spend his time achieving that goal.

I understood where you wer pe coming from. I just wanted to clarify that she is not a Catholic in good standing. I do not judge the state of her soul by saying that. I cannot and do not presume to know that. I’m only making it clear that her objective actions automatically incur the punishment of excommunication.

In much the same way that card carrying democrats still call themselves democrats, despite their current leaders positions on the issues, they put into office one who they agree with. Just as catholicism has chosen a leader that represents their views.

Isn’t that idolatry? Anything that is above God is idolatry, not necessarily statues and golden calves. It could be money, fame or power.
Anyone who votes Democrat...especially at Fed level, is voting for a party that tried to kill their opponent.
The question was what attracts Jews to socialism so much and that is my response. It attracts those of Jewish origin who resent the obligations of Judaism but still want the blessings. So, my response was specifically about the Jews, because the question was about the Jews.
In principle, liberalism will attract the religious minded but rebellious. They want the blessings, but not the obligations. Basically.
In my view, they are a fulfillment of 2 Tim 3:5.

I don’t think it’s idolatry. I just have recently noticed that some groups have a harder time maintaining identity than others.
I don’t mean to offend, but blacks, for instance will dominate in reproduction. It is easy to identify as black, however mixed you are, up to a point. I imagine that every mixed woman knows the burden she faces in whom she chooses for a mate.
Other groups are not a “race”, no matter how much they wish they were. They are a collection of races united by a culture and heritage. For this reason, they enforce their identity rigidly, lest they die out in a culture where they are a minority.
I am thinking that this may cause them to lose sight of their faith.

Thank you for that reply. I think that you are correct that many seek blessings without obligation, regardless of religion. Most notorious seem to be those who believe they can receive blessings with no religion, at all.
