Former President Donald Trump holds a three-point lead over Vice President Kamala Harris among registered voters, CNN polling found Wednesday after President Joe Biden stepped aside.
The poll is one of the first published surveys after Biden endorsed Harris for president.
Trump: 49 percent Harris: 46 percent The poll sampled 1,631 voters from July 22-33 with a 3-point margin of error.
CNN’s poll conducted in June found Trump led Harris by six points, underscoring the “honeymoon” period Harris enjoys as the de facto nominee of the struggling Democrat party.
The poll found Trump’s support has not changed much since Harris entered the race: The poll also suggests that Trump’s support among his strongest groups is holding steady even as his opponent changes: 67% of White voters without degrees support him over Harris, near-identical to his support against Biden (66%). He continues to hold the support of a majority of men (53% versus Harris, it was 54% against Biden). And he maintains the support of about 9 in 10 Republicans and Republican-leaning independents (90% vs. Harris, 89% against Biden).

The only polls you can trust are the ones just before the election. They are the only ones that can be verified (via the election results).
The polls will start showing the race tightening. Enabling the coming cheat. Ballots are being printed and distributed as we speak.
Doesn’t matter what poll, that it’s even a race indicates just how ignorant a lot of America is. 81 million last time. Now they have to change the names on a 100 million votes.

There is no path for Harris, just like there was no path for Biden.
Biden being replaced is an attempt to get the base engaged and motivated to prevent a down ballot massacre.
Also, there hasn't been a recent state poll versus Harris published except for Georgia on Tuesday (Trump +2 in a 5-way race, Trump +1 against just Harris).

The steal would not be able to be sold to the American people with Biden as the candidate. Kamala is a different story. I am not totally confident of a Trump win. They tried to kill him so you don’t think they will try to steal the election again? Anyone challenging a Kamala win will be labeled racist, and misogynist. Any election integrity investigation will be shut down faster than 2020.
They have little time left to play an October surprise card. Harris is still the nominee of their convention?
