The “Super Delegates” nominate the candidate. The other delegates via the primaries is a show. As we have noticed over the several nominating cycles for Democrats, there has been a lot of irregularities in the process.

I don't have anything against Vance, but you can bet the democrats are going to make an issue of abortion, and from the point of view of around half of Americans who are pro abortion, he has no standing. A pro life woman would.
I said Trump should nominate a woman in 2016. He didn't, and we saw how that turned out. I can only hope history doesn't repeat itself.
Harris could pick a woman for VP. She could try to make abortion the key issue of the campaign, with an all-woman pro-abort ticket.
