“That debate was a set-up to convince Democrats that he couldn’t run for president,” a source close to the Biden family told The Post Monday.
Joe Biden was forced to leave the presidential race after high-level Democrats threatened him with the 25th Amendment.
Operatives at the very highest levels of the Democratic Party threatened Joe Biden with forcibly removing him from office unless he stepped down, sources told The Post.
The well-orchestrated “palace coup” to stop the faltering president seeking re-election has been in place for weeks, but stubborn Biden fought against it every step of the way, according to the sources.
Part of the “elaborate” strategy to remove Biden from the race – as he announced in a shock letter posted on X Sunday – was allowing him to debate Republican candidate Donald Trump last month on live TV in Atlanta.
During the car crash 90-minute debate, Biden appeared confused, slack-jawed and at one point he froze up, with his shocking performance turning the tide against him.
Biden is said to have stubbornly fought against the recent calls for him to step down until his shock announcement on Sunday that he will not seek re-election
Although Biden immediately endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate for president, the source said Democratic delegates will be strongly encouraged to instead back Arizona senator and former astronaut Mark Kelly for president at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in August.

This “palace coup” is, to me, the ultimate signal that Big Mike is fully onboard with their “Open Convention” nomination.

Only Congress can do that, not a bunch of Democrats, and no way they’d want incomepetent Harris in the White House until after the campaign in which they hope to fool the voters again.

I know, right? Nobody had to do a thing to set Joe up. Trump could have done any debate any time against Joe without prep and with his eyes closed. The fact is, Joe is incapacitated and fundamentally incapable of the presidency on any of his best days, ever; but he ran his mouth and challenged Trump over and over. He's lucky Trump didn't make it look even worse for him.
I’ve had a theory for a few months now: the elites want this country in an Iran and/or Ukraine war. They know the straight white males they need as cannon fodder won’t fight for Joe Biden. That’s why they’re removing him from power, if my theory is correct.
What puzzles me is, doesn’t the establishment realize Trump won’t give the robber barons the neocon wars they think they’re entitled to?
Maybe they plan on some rogue general committing American troops and causing a Marco Polo Bridge type incident against Trump’s orders [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marco_Polo_Bridge_incident].
The recent assassination attempt makes sense if the elites were hoping to rub Trump out before he could choose a running mate. Then the GOP convention could have been “brokered,” with what remains of the GOP Bu$h wing replacing Trump with some neocon war pig. Surprise, jackasses: Trump survived!
Now their plan may be to replace Biden with somebody on the Democrat ticket who isn’t SO detestable to the straight white men they plan on conscripting. In that case, I expect them to steal 2024 from Trump just like they did 2020.
