Donald Trump may be laying the groundwork for scrambling plans for another presidential debate, suggesting that Fox News, and not ABC News, should be the host.
ABC News had been slated to host the debate between Trump and President Joe Biden on Sept. 10. But now that Biden has dropped out of the race, it is unclear whether those plans will happen. Biden has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris, but if she wins the nomination, it will be her campaign operation to decide.
Trump, meanwhile, posted on Truth Social, “My debate with Crooked Joe Biden, the Worst President in the history of the United States, was slated to be broadcast on Fake News ABC, the home of George Slopadopolus, sometime in September. Now that Joe has, not surprisingly, has quit the race, I think the Debate, with whomever the Radical Left Democrats choose, should be held on FoxNews, rather than very biased ABC. Thank you! DJT”
The Biden campaign had set criteria for debates in May, including that the host network should be one that sponsored debates in the 2016 and 2020 cycles. That eliminated Fox News and MSNBC.

If Kamala is smart she won’t debate. She should instead hold a series of press conferences on a regular basis.
She won’t win against Trump in a Debate. On the other hand, the press will be fawning all over her. She should use that to “get her message out”.
But, if Harris’ people are the same ones who told Biden that debating early was a good idea…then she is screwed anyway.
So what if Tucker picked sides? Name one moderator in the past 60 years that had not picked sides.

These events have always been run by and for the benefit of the Democrats. They screwed up this most recent one because their appointed puppet no longer has the acting skills or stamina to do the performance.
Hosting such events in a venue that is not openly hostile to Republicans would absolutely destroy any prospects for Kamala Harris. The proposal to have Fox News as the host is a move of genius for the Trump organization.
The Democrats aren't going to go for that. They will refuse unless they can put in a replacement team that is younger and more capable of television performances.

FNC set up one of the worst debate ambushes we have ever seen when Chris Wallace screwed Trump but good. Why would Trump let them do it again?
As a matter of hindsight, Trump might have been better off if he waited until after Biden was formally nominated and the Dems were stuck with their non cognizant candidate than holding it before the convention when he could be replaced and Trump would have to give up the non cognizant issue which was a huge issue.
Unfortunately, Trump had no way of knowing that his handlers would not juice Biden up enough to avoid the dementia train wreck.
Trump, give no life lines. If it wasn’t for that move Biden would still be the nominee.
I need faith to trust that everything is unfolding as God intended.
