During an interview with NewsNation on Sunday, Rep. John Garamendi (D-CA) stated that he thinks President Joe Biden decided to leave the 2024 race in part because he was concerned about his own health and Biden’s COVID diagnosis was “a wake-up call that there are other health issues that are ahead of him.” And that Biden decided that it’s best that he “use his energy, his experience, and knowledge” “to finish up the next six months of his presidency in a very strong way.”

Garamendi is the Democrats’ “Soothing Explainer.” They haul out his deep baritone voice and skill for telling slightly plausible lies their voters can use to reassure themselves whenever the party has a major PR issue .
His energy left a long time ago - he could barely get in a car the other day.
His experience is being wrong on every foreign policy for decades.
His knowledge is mostly a pack of lies dreamed up by his wishful thinking.
Biden dropped out because the assassination attempt on Trump failed.
And, he wants to spend more time with his family.

I agree that concern about future health issues was a factor in the decision. If he hadn’t agreed with the ruling elites to drop out of the race, that mild case of “covid” might have ended up a lot worse.
Wrong answer. Those coming health issues were there in 2020. He was given an offer he could not refuse
So Garamendi is saying that the dementia isn’t really the issue!?
That’s good ... for the Dems ... because they are all cognitively impaired.
It seems like some of the coverage I have seen this afternoon is like he either died or resigned. I wouldn’t be surprised if this happens soon.

As I said on another thread, I doubt JB has a month. Maybe not even until next Saturday. TOO MANY dramatic changes the last 72-96 hours - Democrats calling it “rapidly deteriorating” or whatever even BEFORE Biden dropped out.

Yes except the matter of the coming election is frontmost on the minds of the dem establishment. Do they want to ordain Harris as president with the wind behind her back into the convention?? Probably not or the insurrection resignation from the race would have said he was leaving office.
The coming movie will be the six months with Joey as they wheel out the dummy for very contrived appearances. I can see the video to the convention because he still “has covid”.

Note it says “appear to be inaccurate.” If they hid Joe’s condition all this time...well start connecting the dots here.
