My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term. My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this.

In what way? Harris polls lower than Biden. Her one signature responsibility was “Border Czar” and she’s failed miserably.
As much we dislike Harris, I suspect that the party will rally behind her. The money will flow again.
I would be curious as to the polling shows in terms of a Trump-Harris matchup.
Harris benefits from being a woman and person of color.

A stop-gap, temporary situation. The Party has yet to unite around her, and I predict it won’t. Her ads, if there are any, leading up to the convention will not be pro-Harris; they will be anti-Trump, and any effect they might have will thus transfer to whomever emerges as the candidate after the convention. I believe it will be the highly dyslexic Newsom, and I believe he will ‘win’.
the older white biden voters are all over the internet are furious. She gets the nomination without she, herself, never getting ONE SINGLE VOTE. Talk about subverting democracy. Biden voters will stay home or vote Trump.
I wrote that in fun and all silliness. But you make a great point: the dims are horrified the quandary they are in, knowing Cackles is unpopular but how to pass over a “woman of color”? Cankles could solve that little problem for them.
Oh but Trump can flip the tables on the rats by forcing the subject that if he is not well to run for reelection then he is not well to run the country for the next six months left in his presidency and that he must for the good of the people and the nation resign completely. Make it as messy as possible!

Newsmax saying that Trump’s lawyers have been working for weeks preparing to fight this. The process they’re using isn’t legal, and they’re negating the votes of the people who already have voted for Joe.
Bottom line: Trump wants to run against Joe.
