THE gunman who came within inches of assassinating Donald Trump honed his shooting skills on a range just days before the attack....Bill Jenkins, who has spoken to the FBI, told The Sun on Sunday: “I was sitting next to evil. I haven’t been able to sleep thinking about it.”
Crooks, who brought his own 9mm handgun, was such a crack shot on the elite training course that he blew a large hole in a shooting target with a volley of precision rounds....
...Bill and Crooks had signed up to the intermediate handgun-pistol 2 class at Keystone Shooting Centre in Cranberry, Pennsylvania, on June 22.
The range is a 50-minute drive from Crooks’ home in Bethel Park.

Remember the movie Day of the Jackal? The experienced assassin takes aim at DeGaulle and fires off, just as DeGaulle unexpectedly leans forward and kisses the recipient of a medal on both cheeks. Trump is not dead because he unexpectedly moved his head. His ear was clipped and down he went. Then the shooter sprays the crowd. It was just luck that Trump (and DeGaulle) survived. The question of the capability of the shooter is not in question.

I’m so tired of this poor marksman crap and that he couldn’t make the gun team. Almost all shooting is self taught. I’m sure with as much training as this cretin had he could easily have assassinated Trump. Even a poorly trained person with a few instructions can put a 5.56 round in a 2” group at a hundred yards. This was the hand of God or quirk of nature (if you are an atheist) that saved President Trump
Real life DeGaulle survived 31 attempts on his life, and was almost shot in the head numerous times.
Fortunately, it was much more than luck!
Maybe, just maybe, God had a little to do with this.

He may have been a very good shot, but not a good shooter. He lacked the patients to be certain, and his target is alive and well.
As an assassin, he sucked. They spotted him almost from the very moment he interred the rally. But, just maybe, they knew he was going to be there.. :(

That amount of practice eats up a lot of ammo and ammo ain’t cheap. So where did the funding come from.
Oh yeah, practice tales a lot of time too. People at gun ranges notice such things.
The agents wanted to carry Trump off but he insisted on standing up. I think that had they carried him off that ear wound would have been fatal.

There’s a picture in the article, of a target that’s been shot many times at 10 yards. If that’s Crooks’ target, I’d say that he’s not all that good of a shot unless he was shooting in some awkward position or there was a time limit on his shooting. Not exceptional, though it would put an intruder down at 10 yards, which would be a more common distance for a home intrusion type of situation.
How did he shoot with a rifle? By all rights, had Trump not turned his head, a clean head shot would have taken place.
Now, was Crooks the actual shooter or just the patsy? The deep state agencies have their fingerprints all over this one IMHO. I don’t trust a word they say.

Why is that they don’t acknowledge that as a possibility? Hype to stir people up? Misinformation? Click bait? Too stupid to think that through?
Shot out the center in rapid fire? That is good shooting. Also demonstrates that, at least with a handgun, Crooks had a lot of practice.
I’m sure that some other people that have seen him at a range a time or two may have commentary in the future. Hopefully, not through mainstream media, whom I don’t trust.
