The local police officer who encountered the would-be assassin of former President Donald Trump “did not retreat” and tried to grab his gun but fell backwards, injuring himself in the process. The officer is now in “pretty bad” mental shape, Butler Township Commissioner Edward Natali said, explaining that media outlets are wrongly blaming local officers for what happened Saturday evening in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Poor man probably has a concussion.
I am not ready to blame him.
The fish rots from the head.
So do 10 kids at the Saturday HS football game.
I would like to see a photo of the guy.
My gut is telling me he is kinda heavy—too many doughnuts—hard for the other cop to lift.
Hmmm...
OK... See your point...
However, one of the officers needed to just point there gun at the ground and fire a couple of shots as a warning...
And be taken out by the SS sniper?
The response is intentionally vague.
It was his duty to go up there.
And he had a duty to risk his life to take out the shooter. Otherwise he should take a job at a nail salon.
Well, sadly...
Warren v. District of Columbia (1981), the court ruled that the police do not have a specific duty to protect individuals unless a “special relationship” exists.
These guys were doing some tough moves and I would not discredit their actions so easily. If anyone believes this was the will of God then they must know that the shooter had to proceed or we would not have the outcome we have, blessed is this country. Trump will roll over the deep state and the cockroaches in power in a unifying landslide because of this event.
It may also be postulated that this encounter forced a rush to target for the shooter and he subsequently didn't wait for Trump to be still. That would imply this one police officer actually saved Trump's life and he can be proud of his actions.
If you've got a handgun and someone pointed a rifle at you, close range - would you fire three rounds, or just try to grab his gun with your other hand?
This is IRRELEVANT.
Counter snipers had eyes on a shooter who had somehow “found” his way to the perfect line of sight for a kill shot and he got off EIGHT shots.
The prosecution rests.
One would hope. But dont count chickens before the cheat.
He wasn’t trying to grab the rifle, he was trying to grab his own gun and bring it to bear.
I doubt anyone would be in great shape if they popped their head up above the roof and their first view was right into the barrel of an assassin’s gun.
Truthfully ..this all falls on the ss...who’s only job ..in this case .is to protect the President .Who shockingly will not take responsibility for screwing up..unless they didn’t screw up,? And this was what it is starting to look like..from the government that has done everything it possibly could do to destroy Trump.
Not easy to hang onto a roof one-handed while trying to grab your gun with the other while an assassin is getting ready to blow your head off for interrupting his plans.
There should have been a SS detail on that roof in the first place. There should have been a SS drone and a SS drone operator scanning the rooftops and such.
One story claimed the roof was “too hot” for a person to be stationed up there. Then dipstick claimed the roof was too steep for the SS (leaving unsaid that it was just right for the shooter.)
Apparently the local police didn’t have a ladder after all, and the cop was being lifted up by the other to peek over the roof, which is unlikely to provide the steadiest of footing, and if the top cop was ducking away from the gunman’s gun, the cop on the bottom was probably thrown off balance and perhaps couldn’t continue holding the other one up.
Yet Trump can have it pointed at him and get shot and still go on. Hmmm
BS
It’s all finger pointing.
EVERY SINGLE AGENCY IS IMCOMPETANT OR CRIMINAL!
I’ve had enough of this crap.
