This event includes Federal, State, and Secret Service jurisdiction. Federal because it was a Federal Official, State because a civilian was killed, and SS because it was their protectee.

An immediate joint task force should have been set up immediately to handle all communications. If it was, they are eerily silent. Is this on purpose?

Step one to sending this down the memory hole is to create confusion. Zero lack of communication about facts and allowing widespread guessing accomplishes that goal.

The public has an attention span of less than two weeks. We will move on to our next squirrel and no one will care when the actual facts come out.

After 9/11 we knew the names of the 19 hijackers within hours. Let that sink in.

Technically you are correct. The shooter was killed. He is not a patsy.

But according to the theory, that person was really Yearicks, not Crooks. By why Crooks? Why him if he wasn’t the shooter?

It really seems like a dumb conspiracy theory, except for the photo of the shooter.

He’s not a ‘patsy’ - total setup as he had a gun and fired shots.

But EVERY president has a dozen loons out to kill him. Typically they make public statements (see the video posted earlier today of him in public saying Republicans needed their throats slit) and are known to authorities.

Just let one of these loons in, 100 or so yards away, with a LADDER and a RIFLE with nobody stopping him = attempt on Trump’s life.

So it was set up. Loon shoots and THEN - after the shots are fired - take him out to shut him up.

Who helped him? Who put the ladder there? How’d he walk up there with a rifle? Was it already planted? Who cleared the building?

This is JFK Dallas but with the fortunate ending Trump moved his head as a bullet was on its way.

I heard there was SS snipers inside the glass building.

Beaver County ESU team spotted the shooter TWICE.

The first time, the counter sniper took a picture and called it into the command center with the picture

The second time, the counter sniper spotted the shooter was 5:45pm. Again he relayed the photo and info.

The tree blocking the SS sniper line of sight helps explain at least in part why it took so long for snipers to react. Based on the photos of the ladder, you can match where he could have walked the ladder into the little alley and been covered from sniper nests by trees again while doing so, at least in part.

Was this an overlooked vulnerability? Seems like it. Incompetence or intentional, I’m still going with incompetence at the tactical level. At the higher up levels (not the team on the ground) it shows negligence at best in providing supervision, planning, and needed resources for support.

BTW, everyone who has been asking how the shooter could walk in with a rifle. I cant understand why someone hasnt pointed at already that an AR can be easily taken down to the lower and the upper in a few seconds and put in a small carrying bag that would be no bigger than a mid-size nap sack. Once in that alley where the ladder was, he could reassemble it out of view in seconds. I dont think anyone could have seen the rifle until it was spotted on the roof by the civilians on that side of the building.

They were in the building —the anti-sniper team. But didn’t go up “because it was hot.”

I agree there are more questions to be answered. I think there is still a lot of unfounded speculation. Much as many have a reason to distrust the FBI, if the investigation is still ongoing and they aren’t answering questions, where is all this new information coming from? I’m waiting for facts to sift out.

See, here I am doing what I am warning others against. I assumed the photo of the ladder is a ladder placed by the shooter. You asked who put it there? I dont have a time stamp on the photo. It could have been placed there by authorities after the incident to access the roof during the investigation and ‘clean up’ of the scene. I dont know that that is how the shooter accessed the roof. Another report is saying he climbed an AC duct which would be at another location in this building complex.

I was at the rally and pretty sure that the sniper team was on the building 2 down from where depicted on this image.

This has been bugging me... I was talking with another attendee and the building depicted in the image was blocked from view, I mentioned that there was probably another sniper team on that building as well, faced in the mirrored direction. I commented that there was probably a better job that being a sniper on that hot roof today.

JUST IN: USSS director Kim Cheatle says sn*pers weren’t on the roof where Thomas Crooks shot from because it was “sloped” and unsafe.

Ironically, the sn*pers who were behind Trump during the rally were on a sloped roof.

“That building in particular has a sloped roof at its highest point.”

“And so, you know, there’s a safety factor that would be considered there that we wouldn’t want to put somebody up on a sloped roof. And so, you know, the decision was made to secure the building, from inside.”
