Thomas Crooks scrambled onto the roof and opened fire was the staging area for the local police tactical team that was watching over the crowd, two law enforcement officials told ABC News.
(He climbed onto the roof with his gun without using a ladder?)
How was this possible? The sides of the building was metal/tin . It’s not like he’s Spiderman!
If that building was the local pd staging area, yes local pd is responsible.

There are pictures of the building showing a ladder on the side of the building, accessing the roof-—not sure IF that was the case when the shooting occurred.
Any way you look at it—WTH were the cops thinking? Leaving this site unsecured? Good Lord-—NO WAY was this an overlooked security lapse==NO ONE is that stupid and incompetent—This was a set up——PLUS witnesses were pointing out the shooter as he climbed into position and the Police Did NOTHING-—
Also reports that the shooter was detained earlier in the day because he looked “suspicious” and they let him go unwatched and not monitored—WTF??

Do a Google map street view....the fixed ladder was behind the two tall shrubs/trees but even if it wasn’t there that building looks very easy to get to the roof....
I can tell you from personal experience that many cops in rural Pennsylvania are Keystone Kop Klowns who would never be hired by a serious police department.

SS says the building was out of their zone, and locals were responsible. Locals are saying SS had ‘overall responsibility,’ and it was their responsibility; heard on radio this morning
That might have added to the confusion over who the guy on the roof with a rifle really was

3. Why - when everyone was yelling and pointing - wasn’t he taken out before he got multiple shots off?

This story just solidifies my conclusion that this was an inside job by the democrats.

Security is actually visible for miles before you even get to a rally venue.
I felt safe, as well, unconcerned for The President’s safety

The building 20 feet behind the dead dude is actually one story higher and begs the question “Why wasn’t a team on top of those buildings?” We know the answer.
Moreover, there is a 90 foot water directly to the east and overlooking all the buildings where dead was and he would have been easily seen if a team was on that water tower.

No one on building to secure it.
No one overlooking to secure it.
So… a guy just decides to show up at a rally and take a potshot at PDJT… and he looks around for a spot that wasn’t covered by USSS and… well whadaya know! He’s in luck. A handy barn roof with no-one on it. And his rifle happens to be sighted in for the distance to the stage.
Now, let’s just see if he can get up there with a rifle without being spotted. Well whaddaya know! Another lucky break! Wait… he was spotted and pointed out to security, Well whaddaya know! Three times lucky! Security blew it off.
Oops. His luck ran out. He was shot deader’n a doornail. Tsk, tsk. Too bad. Can’t question him now.

It makes me wonder how the perp even knew that the roof was available at all. Are we to believe he was able to scope out the location when it was a police facility?
Also note the perp lived thirty five miles away—it is not as though he had local knowledge.
Thank God he missed. That was a very stressful 10 minutes or so waiting to find out. Still can’t believe it happened. Talk about Divine intervention.
