RealClearPolitics White House and National Political Correspondent Susan Crabtree dropped an important report on the failure of the Secret Service to protect President Donald J. Trump and those around him during last week’s Pennsylvania rally.
According to Crabtree, the potential lack of drones and the “DEI” protocols at the Secret Service contributed to the failure, but the biggest reason Trump’s life was put in danger is because rules of engagement prohibit snipers from engaging until the assassin shoots first.

They’re all on radios. Wouldn’t the SS guys on the stage know the potential danger? Shouldn’t they be standing in the way of potential shots, scanning the crowd, trees, roofs as a regular protocol? They did nothing until Trump crouched.
What an amateurish removal of Trump from the stage. Geez. Don’t they practice that?
No disagreement there: Even if it was local LEO’s around the building the shooter was on, the protocol HAS to be for somebody to radio an alert (an alert code?) to get Trump shielded and then the stage cleared. Getting Trump shielded should not take even 30 seconds from reception of the alert.
Dan Bongino just made another good point too: How the heck were there no air assets (drone, helicopter) to surveil spots like the back side of that roof? A 5’2” female SS agent can operate a drone just fine...

That is my question that I have not seen publicly asked yet. According to movies there is a code word they use when the president is in danger and they tackle him. There was much, much time to do that before the first shots were fired. The cop that confronted the shooter, the counter snipers that saw him, the people yelling after seeing the shooter...yet nobody did anything. Curiouser and curiouser.
If the SS was watching the guy would not have got off more than 2 shots. This doesn’t make sense.
This story makes no sense. None at all.
I have not been reading the threads on theories about how/why the assassin missed his intended target. Yes, he sprayed audience members, while firing a rapid string of fire, but I have a theory about why he missed his target besides just being a reported poor shot.
So forgive me if this has already been suggested, but I believe that he very likely missed his shots while in the prone position due to trying to rest his elbows on the very hot surface of the roof which he had not anticipated because he had not thought this through in advance. He probably couldn’t hold a good firing position long enough to make accurate shots.
Just my theory.
And if it is true..I wonder if they have the same protocol for Biden.
So the SS knew in time for the agents around Trump to pull him down but they didn’t act. Why not?

One of the craziest moments in Scripture is right after Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. The scribes and Pharisees saw that people were believing in Jesus and they decided they needed to kill Him.
He just raised Lazarus from the dead and they still think that if they killed Jesus He would stay dead. They clearly didn’t recognize Who they were dealing with.
In Acts, when Peter and John were brought in for healing the lame man, Gamaliel was asked what should be done to those healing in Jesus’ name. His response was fantastic: Leave them alone because if this is from man it will die away just like all the movements in the past, but if not you would be found opposing the actual work of God (paraphrased).
Christians who hate Trump and saw what happened on Saturday should be thinking hard.
I have a lot of respect for Trump. But if God is protecting him and holding him up for us, this is WOW territory because it’s not really about what Trump can do and is doing. It’s about what GOD can do and is doing. That is a whole ‘nother league. If God is with us as a people, there are more with us than against us and we have only to look up and see the mighty power that surrounds us.

The Secret Service sniper was able to quickly kill the perp, after the perp fired his rifle. People are saying that the perp was not skilled at shooting President Trump. I disagree.
From various reports, it appears that after witnesses said there was a man climbing on the roof with a rifle, a cop did try climbing the ladder and yelled at the perp, asking what he was doing. The perp spun around and pointed at the cop, and the cop lost his footing and fell back from the roof/ladder. The perp then quickly spun around to target President Trump and fired several shots that missed killing him, only because President Trump had turned his head sideways. The perp shot without perfectly aiming because he realized the gig was up due to the cop being there.
The 20-year-old perp had managed to spin around and quickly get off shots that would have killed President Trump, if Trump had not changed his head position.

Reminds me of that Sci-Fi comedy movie "Galaxy Quest". On an alien planet, the commander tells his people to give out a warning call if the aliens attack. One guy says I'll yell "Caw, caw, caw!". Commander says "Are you a child? We have radios!". When the aliens attack, the guy on watch comes out screaming "Caw, caw, caw!".
What happened at the shooting disaster was an amateur sh*tshow by the SS. If they practiced before the event, it did not go well in reality.

however, this is extremely unlikely to be true; if this was SOP, then the SS would be pointless since they would always have to wait until their protectee was wounded or killed before acting ... and besides numerous former SS agents like Bongio and many others have stated that individual SS agents do NOT need permission to ELIMINATE threats on the spot ...
now, if this was true in the SPECIFIC case of Butler, which i doubt also, then this would be no more or less than the Biden administration trying to assassinate Trump ...
however, i don’t discount a more subtle manner to accomplish the same thing, namely having minimal SS agents present and other resources at the butler event, assigning all rookie DEI agents, and overall “accidentally on purpose” botching their routine security measures ..
