Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) said Sunday Sen. JD Vance’s (R-Ohio) response to the attempted assassination of former President Trump should “disqualify” him from serving as vice president.
Vance, a contender for Trump’s choice of running mate, said in a social media post on Saturday that the shooting was “not some isolated incident” and suggested President Biden’s campaign was, at least in part, at fault.
“The central premise of the Biden campaign is that President Donald Trump is an authoritarian fascist who must be stopped at all costs,” Vance said on the social platform X. “That rhetoric led directly to President Trump’s attempted assassination.”
Kinzinger — a former GOP member of Congress who became a frequent Trump critic — responded to Vance’s post, saying, “This should absolutely disqualify @JDVance1 from VP.”

Kinzinger and his J6 lies about Trump could be construed to have a lot of responsibility for fomenting the hate and vitriol behind this shooting.

Biden himself said the day prior that “From the bottom of my heart, Trump is a threat to this nation” the next day some punk ass tried to kill him..so yeah there’s a connection..and if the roles had been reversed Kinzinger would be saying this was Trump’s fault

I do not expect any kind words from Adam Kinzinger, considering his history as a leading embodiment of Trump Derangement Syndrome. But with his peripheral attack on JD Vance, he has further alienated himself for any serious reconciliation with the Republican party. He has transmuted entirely into an assistant Democrat, perhaps even a Democrat Socialist, and no longer representative of anything truly American.

Actually i wasn’t with Vance until that reaction. Now I would be more comfortable with him. Does anyone have a thread of the Rubio, Bergum, Carson responses? Frankly, anyone who is being considered.
NOW is the time for a bi-partisan J13 committee to be seated and begin activation.
They couldn’t wait to form a sham “bi partisan” committee to conclude that President Trump had CAUSED the “armed insurrection” on January 6, and orchestrated a months long made for/in HELLywood production “proving” President Trump was the ringleader of aforementioned insurrection and that he did it JUST by using words.
How did a 20 year old kid get to where he thought he was doing God’s work by killing President Trump ?
Certainly it wasn’t the WORDS of Maxine Waters, or Nancy Pelosi, or Chuck Schumer, or DOZENS of other public democrat voices . . . . .

Vance is winning me over, despite my prior reservation due to his lack of history. Time to give him the benefit of the doubt.
