So they had him in their sights presumably they saw he was armed. The question is why did they wait until he shot before killing him.

In my opinion, if they have to wait for permission, they are not the right people for the job.
Sitting here in Harvard Square listening to kids talk about this. They are either giddy with joy that someone tried to kill him, or pissed that he still lives. Of one is even remotely concerned about a human who was killed and several who could have died, including Trump. It’s startling.
She is too short. She protected his torso, but was not tall enough to protect his head.
The SS detail all need to be about 6’-2” tall or taller. She falls short by a good foot.

It has occurred to me (and I’m sure others) that “they” think they’re out of reach of the same violence that they advocate.

I strongly object to the FBI, a corrupt and compromised organization conducting the investigation into the shooting.
We need an independent investigation.

They look like the Three Stooges. Full panic and haven’t a clue what to do. One couldn’t even get her gun back in it’s holster.
One Step Beyond had a great episode back in the Sixties in which George Washington had forty bullet holes in his uniform but not a single wound.
Maybe they were told over their comms not to fire until the assassin fires. Even then it took them 16 seconds to fire one shot at the assassin after he fire his first shot.
Yeah, what’s weird is that they would try it in this day and age.
There must have been 100 videos being recorded, video and sound, form every conceivable angle, all time stamped and time synched.

I think he was referring to her physical inability to cover Trump because of her size. And clearly an open shot was available to anyone who wanted it. There was a time where males shorter than 5’10” were not considered for SSS.
The footage I’ve seen of the women looked like a SNL skit.
Only women closing in on 6 feet in height should qualify. Short women, trying to surround and protect, leave the head wide open. No getting around that.
No, Trump had the hand of God upon him. We can see Gods hand if we look. We dodged nothing. That bullet was not meant for us. It was from satan whom has been defeated in Christ. We as a nation dodged chaos and crisis. GOD shows his omnipotent ways sometimes with the grandeur of earthquakes and sometimes in the subtleness of a millimeter or a not predictable puff of wind. We should discern. We should not be arrogant and collectively see things not meant for us. We should DISCERN what this means for us.
