🚨#BREAKING: Donald Trump confirmed via Truth Social that a bullet pierced the upper part of his right ear. A photo taken by a photographer shows the bullet flying towards Trump.
You're entitled to be wrong. Based on distance, average velocity of a rifle bullet, and direction of attack it is very clear that the assassin had his target picked as the back of the skull. It was the head turn that resulted in the ear graze.
How did you figure out the yardage? Looked at it on Google maps but don’t know how to figure out then exact distance.
Lets not forget Lee Zeldin stabbed on stage by a leftist. Or the Christian kids in Nashville killed by a leftist. the list is long. Yet it’s the proud boys that are terrorists.

It was only 130 yards. That’s point blank for a decent shooter with a high powered rifle and a scope from prone position.
The amazing thing is that he missed with five shots.
The other amazing thing is that the Secret Service didn’t have a roof that close with a clear shot at the podium covered.
At least he would have had to quit flying around.
He was turning his head to the right, but his vertical position did not change.
If the shooter were aiming at the center of mass of the head, it would not mattered if Trump turned his head. The bullet would still have hit the center of mass, because the position of his head never changed laterally.
The shooter simply held too far left.
Interestingly, the wind earlier appears to go from left to right for the shooter's view. Maybe he was holding for wind and it stalled (Thank you Lord)
More likely he was an amateur, with pumping heart, and rushed his shot, then just hurriedly tried to get off more rounds before the SS let loose one centered on His head.
That seems too low, and there are artifacts in that picture, but maybe.
To answer your question you have to be at least practiced, know trigger and breathing control, windage and elevation. Some think it’s a cinch to fire at 200 yards. I personally have hundreds of hours of firing experience from my time in the Corps and back in civilian life. An amateur isn’t making that shot .
The new cameras (like the Nikon Z9) shoot at incredible speed. The could shoot at about 100 frames a second.
He said “it’s time to put Trump in a bullseye”. It sure is a curious thing to say given what happened.
Prone, supported shots.
The video of the SS snipers looks to me like they had the shooter lined up to be shot right after he connected a shot on Trump.
There were some maps of the site, and showed where the shooter was and how far from Trump.
He got several shots off, almost certainly a semi-automatic, and a skilled shooter wouldn’t use a .22 LR for that kind of shot, they’d use a fast round with a harder hit like a .223. That round will cover that distance in less than a tenth of a second, and Trump didn’t move his head that much.
The single shot that grazed Trump was about 4 MOA, pretty good for a .22 LR, but not very good for a professional with a better round.
It was not a professional shooter, probably a semi-practiced amateur.

I might miss, and I might get a lucky hit. And that's what I am, an amateur. This guy was about as good as me.
It depends upon how you define an amateur.
There are civilian competitors who make 300 yd shots with iron sight pistols, from standing or sitting position.
130yds prone with a scope isn’t much of a shot.
I’m still concerned as to why EVERY roof within 500yds wasn’t either occupied or under surveillance.......
I must admit, there is another oddity here. Trump’s right ear was clipped by the bullet, and bled a fair amount. He grabbed his right ear, and yet in pics and vids a few moments later, there’s no blood on his hand, cuff of white shirt, etc. How does that happen? Trump had the presence of mind to ask someone to wipe his hand clean so he would not be raising a bloodied fist to the crowd?
Or he simply wiped his hand on his pants or something.
