President Trump was shot on Saturday at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Firearms expert Larry Johnson confirmed to The Gateway Pundit:
** The shooter was likely outside the venue ** The shooter was on the right side of Trump ** This was not a pistol used by the shooter ** Likely a 22 Long Rifle – likely semiautomatic ** The 22 Long Rifle is effective up to 200 yards ** It appears no one else was shot on the stage ** The audience was looking to their right after the shots were fired. ** Bullet was in a deceleration range

Drones would have spotted the shooter.

Seems odd. They didn't see the shooter on the rooftop before the shooting, but they were able to see him and take him down very quickly after the shooting.

Pretty fast shooting to snipe somebody at an unknown location 200 yards away, within seconds. Almost like the sniper knew ahead of time where to shoot.
A .22 LR is lethal out to 700 yds, but I’m guessing he used an AR type rifle 5.56 / .223.

As many failures as the SS had today, one failure was NOT the accuracy of their sharpshooters. They -- and I quote a witness -- "blew his head off."

Most 22 rifles are generally effective to 100 yards or so. Bullet will travel further but velocity and accuracy drop off very quickly after 100 yards. Saw a Prarie dog hit at 180 yards once with a 22 LR, but it was from an expensive custom made varmit rifle.
