A top ABC News executive was reportedly “furious” upon learning that George Stephanopoulos, a former Democratic operative, came off as biased against President Biden.
Stephanopoulos, 63, was told by the network’s news division head, Debra O’Connell, that “he is a newsman who is expected to be objective,” according to Radar Online, after video footage emerged of the former Bill Clinton adviser telling a Manhattan passerby, “I don’t think [Biden] can serve four more years.”
The candid clip of Stephanopoulos, published by TMZ on Tuesday, reportedly sparked an internal meeting at ABC, which resulted in O’Connell asking that the “Good Morning America” and “This Week” host apologize for his remark – which he did. “Earlier today I responded to a question from a passerby. I shouldn’t have,” the news anchor told Puck News in a statement hours after his comments went viral.

Did they forget to print the “except for Bad Man Orange” statement?
Actually... He’s a former Democratic operative, who viewers see as a former Democratic operative. He’s not a reporter and never has been.
The reason Biden went to him for an interview is because they knew it would be easier then being questioned by a ‘real’ reporter, which George Snuffelopogus isn’t.

It’s not like George has a reputation for honesty to protect.
Biden might step down? How can he when Dr. Jill has control of all “stepping down” operations (like stepping down from a stage)?
Uyghur, PLEASE!
So many “accidental” hot mics:
The thing that’s so scarry about all this is ,they actually think he can make it another full term. This senile old fart wont make the election, the rate he is going. If they cheat, and they will
where they can, and get him elected ,we are finished as a free country and a world leader. For the first time in my life of 65 years, I don’t think we can defend our shores anymore.
“he is a newsman who is expected to be objective,”
HA!
Since when?
Looky here furious National Executive Producer at ABC... you licked the boots, GS was a known liability, you kissed the arse, GS was hooked up, you pandered the great poobah, it bit you in the arse... soooooo now you’re furious? At whom? Little Georgie or that stupid mug looking back at you in the mirror? You asked for it, you got it.
Sorry now? Enjoy a nice stroke over your arse kissing dalliance.
Again calling someone biased means speaking the truth. Like calling someone who had a different narrative or agenda a racist, nazi, misogynist ….
Suddenly they want George to be objective
ABC wouldn’t lie to us.
Thinking that any observation which happens to differ from your own is a “bias” is a very strong indication of…a bias.
In his heart, he is still hoping hillary can take up the slack and win the Presidency
“Debra O’Connell, that “he is a newsman who is expected to be objective,”

Stephy WAS being objective. His boss wanted him to pretend he didn’t have an opinion.
Truth telling not allowed at ABC.
Had George said the same about Trump ABC wouldn’t have batted an eyelid.
But are they furious enough to fire George Stephanopoulos?
