President Joe Biden reportedly skipped a meeting with world leaders — which was intentionally set up “in the early evening” — shortly after the war in Ukraine erupted because he needed to “go to bed.”
The startling revelation raises serious concerns about Biden’s ability to manage crises beyond the 6-hour schedule he keeps – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. — which also includes naps.
The Wall Street Journal reported that German officials sought to meet with Biden in June 2022, just a few months after Russia invaded Ukraine, along with other world leaders during the annual G7 Summit.
German officials were “aware of Biden’s fatigue at night” and decided to accommodate the president by holding a “confidential” meeting about the war in Ukraine “in the early evening” so that he could attend.
However, Biden never showed up. Secretary of State Antony Blinken attended instead and announced that Biden “had to go to bed,” according to multiple sources.
The WSJ report highlighted how Biden aides “have aggressively stage-managed” the 81-year-old president’s mental and physical decline over the last two years, including micromanaging all of his public appearances, blocking him from impromptu remarks with reporters, declining halftime interviews during the last two Super Bowls, limiting his travel because he didn’t have “the stamina,” creating barriers to block reporters from being able to ask Biden questions, and blasting music at events so that no one hears reporter’s questions.
A former top Biden adviser told the publication they were stunned by how much Biden had declined when they met with the president last summer, saying that the situation was “not good.”
One Democratic donor told the publication that when they saw Biden earlier this year, it was clear that he had “lost a step” as he struggled to speak at an event in South Florida.
At a fundraiser in New York last year, donors were reportedly “stuck by how fragile (Biden) seemed.” Biden couldn’t remember the word “veteran” and had to ask the audience for help coming up with the word that referred to someone who had served in the military.
The report noted that Biden used to engage with reporters frequently as a senator and vice president but started cutting off the media’s access to him during his presidency, to the point where he has held fewer press conferences and interviews than any other president in modern history.

It’s interesting how the media is suddenly going into their files and dusting off stories from a few years ago showing Biden’s mental deterioration, and are just now releasing them.
While the anti-Trump hysteria was dominant, they really did not have to do anything, and the media did not demand anything from him. Kudos to the media, and especially CNN for piercing through the mask.
Is he going to campaign from his basement again?
His campaign will be a lot of pre taped edited messages to make him seem lucid. He will limit in person unrehearsed talking.
They keep hinting that his decline has been recent. The guy was sharp as a tack up until just the other day, then -- WHAM! -- dementia.
But people have been talking about this problem for years.
The notion that the MSM Biden Protection Fortress is gone is completely wrong. This story will not covered by any “news” outlet that matters. This story and others like it are still spiked because Biden refuses to leave so they will not finish him off in case he ends up as the rats Candidate
It’s crazy seeing the mainstream media go after Biden after ignoring all his issues and scandals the past 5 years. The media didn’t grow a conscious they’ve been given marching orders to take down Biden.
The DNC waited too long it’s not that easy just to replace Biden on the democrat ticket now. Plus Biden can be stubborn and refuse to leave. His mind is too far gone to read the tea leaves and his family is desperate to keep him in office.
This is a mess and I’m enjoying it except the Biden family might burn down the country on the way out. They’ve already done enough damage the last four years.
Not that he shouldn’t be able to handle it, but it was held in Bavaria, which is 5 hours ahead of DC.

Interesting that you made that comment -— one of the things I’ve been doing recently is going back to the 2020 election cycle episodes of Rush Limbaugh; I was just listening to his 7/9/2020 episode and he commented in the first 5 minutes of the episode about the media and their inability and unwillingness to report that Biden’s brain is not working, 4 years ago!!!
It’s almost eerie, like I’m listening to a current Rush broadcast, since the names, the issues and the BS are all very much the same.

Biden will have to be forced out, but there is no rule and no law except the 25th Amendment to make him go. And the way it works is near impossible to accomplish even if they choose to use it.
They do NOT want Harris as an incumbent POTUS candidate.
But hey may have no choice.
Biden will not quit. He has to stay in office to have the Power of the Pardon at his disposal.

There should be age limits on the presidency and judgeships. At 80-plus, people just don’t function as well as they used to.
