Russian propagandists blame Kyiv for Kremlin’s deadly strike on children’s hospital

Videos emerge online, showing a targeted attack by a Kh-101 missile on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv Ukrainian military expert Oleksandr Kovalenko has analyzed Russian propaganda messages after the terrorist attack on the largest children’s hospital of Ukraine.

At first, the Russian invaders claimed their strike on the Okhmadyt children's hospital in Kyiv was due to an alleged military meeting taking place there.

“So they openly admit that the attack on the children's clinic was targeted and justify it with a “meeting” claim… Seriously?

Let me recall that when two weeks ago, Kharkiv was attacked with glide bombs, Russian media platforms openly stated that the hospital was actually their target... Meanwhile, hospitals are protected by the Geneva Convention, which states that such facilities and their personnel operating in war zones shall be protected,” Kovalenko pointed out.

He adds that the Russians are, in fact, openly stating they are deliberately attacking civilian targets protected by the Geneva Convention.

Later in the day, the Russian propagandists, seeing the impact of their crime, turned on the other classic narrative, claiming the missile was shot down by Ukrainian air defense so it hit the hospital.

Ukrainians took to social media to publish the footage, which confirms that there was no shoot-down.

“The missile just plunges directly onto the children's hospital building. A targeted attack by a Kh-101 missile on a children's hospital,” Kovalenko wrote on Telegram.

In the evening, Russian propagandists decided to play experts, claiming that the children's hospital was hit by a Ukrainian Patriot PAC-3 surface-to-air missile!

And this despite the fact that a video of the strike is widely circulated, while a number of Russian specialized platforms across social media openly stated that the facility had been hit by a Russian Kh-101.

“Just look closely at the missile seen in the video, especially pay attention to its tail unit and the R95-300 turbojet engine located there. Now, let’s compare this with the Patriot PAC-3, NASAMS AIM-120A, and Kh-101/555 missiles.

Here's a question for experts: what type of missiles is totally similar to what we see there? Especially the tail part with the turbojet engine,” Kovalenko concluded.

The United States’ bombing of German cities during World War II is a complex and multifaceted topic, with various perspectives and interpretations. While the Allies, including the United States, saw the bombing of German cities as a justified military strategy, critics argue that it violated the principles of the Geneva Conventions.

But I didn't hear you complain about the attack at the concert in Russia.

War is hell, and Russia has tried to find a peaceful resolution before & after it went to the kinetic stage. Ukraine has never sought a peaceful resolution.

honest question..

what does Ukraine’s survival have to do with me in the united states?

all I see is the bill.

I can ask this about everywhere my tax dollars are being spent on the same thing.

why is it my broke a$$’s job to pay for all this? or my unborn grand kids? if this stuff is so important to the world, they should start writing the checks.

The people of the US have go to realize that they don’t know two things:

1. What war is and how it’s fought
2. How other countries interpret war and how they fight it

One of the biggest reasons the US had garnished respect from foreign countries concerning our military is that we used to win wars. We took the hit and never gave an inch. And soon they didn’t want to pay the price.

But those days are over. Our leadership no longer believes in winning or the threat of their losing. And without those threats we are nothing more than a weak, tired third world country with a lot of possibilities that have too much dust on them to make available. We have lost the three major conflicts we have fought over the past 50 years: Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Bing West, a former colleague at the Pentagon and the Naval War College divides blame for each of these losses among three hubs — namely, the military, the policy-makers, and the popular mood among the people of the country. He argues correctly that the policy hub, or the policy-makers, were primarily responsible for the failures. This attitude started back in the 1960’s and has never lost it’s momentum. And even the conflicts we didn’t go totally into like the Ukraine, Kosovo, Syria, Lybia, and others has weakened our status by reputation to the point that we are no longer a world leader, just a big mouth.

But when it all comes down to killing people face to face, we have no intention. We escalated the Vietnam war over a lie concerning an attack in the Bay of Tonkin. The US people were lied to. We entered Iraq to squelch a building of a WMD force that the people were told didn’t exist. The US people were lied to. We entered Afghanistan but the Obama administration never publicly or privately praised Iran for its help in Afghanistan but did award them back their money and overlooked a number of incidents. Iran detested the Taliban. Trump started the withdraw from Afghanistan with the date set at May 1. And Biden blew it. So we enter conflicts we couldn’t win and got our tails kicked everytime we did with the including of backing out looking defenseless. And other countries see this and consider us weak. They aren’t far from wrong. And it all boils down to the policy makers and what they have fed the voters all these years through the media. They have put us at risk.

some of us support President Trump. He said Ukraine’s survival is important to us.

True. If it wasn't for a greasy, thieving dictator who plays the piano with his tallywacker, the world would crumble.

Ruzzia bombed a children’s hospital, pure and simple.

The same people who told me Russians Bad worked for the Deep State and forged a dossier in an attempt to subvert the United States election of Donald Trump.

The same people also told me Zelensky Good, reject building a wall to protect our border and gave him billions of our tax money, had him appear on Hollywood Award shows, and to this day still have him feted by the most anti-American Hollywood Communists they can find.

From the article: "...A targeted attack by a Kh-101 missile on a children's hospital." - Ukrainian "military expert" Oleksandr Kovalenko

So... this so-called "military expert" knows the hospital was targeted. That's some serious insider expertise there.

Ridiculous nonsense.

what does Ukraine’s survival have to do with me in the united states?

We are supplying weapons to the enemy(Ukraine) of our enemy(Russia), which has led to the destruction of half the Russian military, without the injury or loss of one US soldier. This prevents Russia from threatening our European allies, while sending a warning to China on Taiwan.

I’m going to guess that President Trump considers it strategically important to us or else he wouldn’t have said it.
