It’s a crucial week for Biden. Here’s the latest.
President Biden issued defiant responses on Monday to high-ranking lawmakers calling for him to step aside, challenging Democrats to run against him and telling congressional Democrats in a letter that he was “firmly committed to staying in the race.”
Calling into “Morning Joe” on MSNBC, Mr. Biden said he didn’t care about any of the “big names” urging him to drop out of the race, his voice rising considerably as he spoke.
“If any of these guys don’t think I should run, run against me,” he said. “Go ahead, announce for president. Challenge me at the convention.”
Less than an hour earlier, Mr. Biden’s campaign released a letter to congressional Democrats in which he wrote that he was “firmly committed to staying in the race.”
His pledge to remain in the race kicks off what could be the most crucial week of his presidency, as he faces crumbling support from Democratic lawmakers and mounting fears of a rout by former President Donald J. Trump and his followers in November’s races for the White House and Congress.
Here’s what else to know:
The NATO summit. Many Democrats are demanding a ramped-up campaign for Mr. Biden to prove his viability, but he will be busy this week hosting the 75th NATO summit in Washington. The three-day meeting, beginning Tuesday, was planned months ago but arrives at an inopportune moment for Mr. Biden. Aides have promised an aggressive campaign schedule the week of July 15 — if it’s not too late.
A rare news conference. Mr. Biden and his advisers have promised that he will hold a solo news conference with White House reporters, most likely on Thursday, at the end of the NATO summit. While those were routine for previous presidents, Mr. Biden has not had one (other...

Yes - Joe's continued presence has no effect on the generation of fraudulent ballots - it just makes that effort harder to hide than it was in 2020. But even exposure equivalent to the recent debate debacle isn't going to change many minds. It might scare the low-level operatives enough to minimize the level of fraud - probably the best we can hope for.
Seriously?
Pres Trump thoroughly explains, in great detail ... sometime for almost two hours, what he will do on day one, at ALL of his rallies, interviews, etc.
Rather than reply to your PM, here is where you can do your own research ... every rally thread has great recaps of what Pres Trump has said he will do, from Day One ... here you go ...

LOL!
Unreal, isn’t it??
Who, here (of all places) hasn’t heard Pres Trump’s REPEATED plans to get this country back, and, great, again, on day one of taking office?
He’s been saying quite a bit.
We eliminate dept of ed (dovetails with the recent chevron deference decision), eliminating payroll and income taxes, biggest deportation program in history, and that’s just the small stuff
To paraphrase Napoleon: Don’t interrupt your opponent when he is in the process of making a mistake.
Let’s leave all focus on the Dems. Donald should say very little.
One thing seems almost certain. Whether it’s Joe or someone else in November, the Democrats are going to have a real turn-out problem with their base. Whatever the outcome, half the party is going to be angry.
It will be either “That stubborn SOB had to stay in the race and ruin any chance we had of winning. The hell with him. He’s not getting my vote.” or “We voted for Biden in the primary but he was forced out by all the party big-shots. If they’re so confident they can win without him, then they can do it without my vote.”
I 100% support Mr. Biden in his effort to remain the democRAT candidate. His continued candidacy is of great importance to the future of The Republic.
Run, Joe, Run!
Not so funny when it happens to you, huh, Demagogic Party stooges? As Robespierre said after the guillotine execution of his last serious rival -- "just one more weeding".
[snip] The way the factions are forming their lines is fascinating. Biden will stop at nothing to stay in office. Brace yourselves. [/snip]- 'Obama is telling democrats privately, Joe Biden can not win.'......... [07/01/2024]
This may all be nothing but typical political kabuki...but it creates uncertainty among the masses...that's never a good thing...politically.
Best thing Trump can do during this chaos (real or not) is to impose a gag order...on himself.
Come at me bro.
I would be stunned if Biden has not had a state funeral before the convention.
They’ve been keeping Jimmy Carter on ice for just such an occasion...
I wouldn’t put it past the party to do something drastic but, I agree, they have a very uphill battle to replace him (or her). If they did replace someone I would say it’s her before him and whoever that is would replace Biden shortly thereafter. Of course this is moot because the left WILL NOT WIN IN NOVEMBER.
The biggest problem is the ballots go into printing the day after the nomination is concluded. You cannot re print ballots and distribute outside the production schedule. That and states accept the names of the presidential candidates and by law, will not allow changes.
This guy has a death wish. Jill may be part of it. Imagine the attention she’ll get? AND she’s free from that pants shitting scumbag? My guess/hope is that Hunter will be part of the deal. And that it gets botched just enough that they suffer.
When Trump wins the democrats and their comrades in the media will preach the election was rigged and now wish they has chads to count.
No, it shows you haven’t been paying attention.
Did the Dems not review their plan with the Bidens before primary season?
The Bidens are looking for a payout. Their income stream is going to dry up.
Make lots of popcorn for the DNC. It’s going to be fun.
Why, he’ll kill all his political enemies and be a dictator from day one, of course. And cause the seas to rise just to drown the Obamas in their beach house. His disciples are fine with this, because they’re all racists./sarc
