The French election results showed that the “alliance of dishonour” between President Emmanuel Macron and the far left effectively blocked the populist National Rally from gaining a majority despite the Le Pen party having won the most votes.
According to the French Interior Ministry, Marine Le Pen’s National Rally (RN) won the most votes of any party during Sunday’s second round of the snap legislative elections at over 8.7 million, good for 32.05 per cent of the vote.
When combined with their electoral alliance partners from disputed Les Républicains president Eric Ciotti, who earned nearly 1.4 million, good for 5 per cent of the vote, that would take the right wing to over 10 million and 37.05 per cent of the vote.

It wont last. The muslims will keep demanding more until they get their islamic state.
Then, almost overnight, we’re reading that the communists/socialists have won.
Why does this all sound so familiar?/s
Nous n’avons pas d’ennemis à gauche. (We have no enemies on the left.)

Although our system is different, I expect a similar outcome in November with the DNC rounding up around 90 million votes.
Macron effectively will be presiding over the dissolution of France and all things French, such is the lust for power.
Exactly what the elite want. No nation states just a one world government ruled by them. Question is will the French or British or Germans etal. sit back and allow their cultures to be lost to history, or will they eventually rise up and take back what their identity? The first step is to shut their borders and clean house of those from foreign countries who do not assimilate. We will be forced to do the same or we will lose what makes America unique and at one time the beacon of freedom for the world.
The real problem is that Canada and France both have majority Left populations. They are on a trajectory to go full Venezuela, and then it will be too late. Canada might be irreversible already.
Just like in the U.S., when it comes to the House of representatives, what matters is how many districts a party wins, not the national total of votes for the party. When it comes to our legislatures, we don’t vote for an elect a party and then let the party with the most votes assign a majority of the legislative seats. France is no different other than having “second round” votes after no 50% plus majority. What is interesting about the last point is a second round is forced when the first round does not give a mjority of seats to a party, yet sometimes there is still no majority with the second round, but somone gets to try to form a government anyway. Kinda does not make sense, to me.
It is crazy
Thank you for that excellent explanation.
#20 That sounds like a system that will eventually blow itself apart.
See Italy...!
Italy has its 68th government in 76 years. Why such a high turnover?

Canadas city populations are socialists and leftists. Rural Canada is decidedly conservative.
Canada has huge political problems with a real possibility of crashing in on itself. The Liberals spend far too much money and have ignited inflation that will never cease.
