CHICAGO (WLS) -- At least 103 people have been shot, 19 fatally, in gun violence across Chicago since Wednesday evening during the extended Fourth of July holiday weekend, police said.
Mayor Brandon Johnson and Chicago Police Superintendent Larr y Snelling will hold a press conference Monday morning to address the violence.
The latest shooting took place in the West Chesterfield neighborhood.
Two people were shot, one fatally at about 11:51 p.m. in the 700-block of East 89th Place.
Minutes before that, one person was shot an killed in the 200-block of North Central Avenue in the South Austin neighborhood.

As I mentioned in another thread about this the other day, trusting it was a safe Fourth weekend to enjoy trap, skeet, clays, rifle and handgun target, and other shooting sports in many other parts of America.

NYC is easily as democratic as Chicago and has a population of 8 millions yet they “only” had 22 shootings (3 or 4 times larger).
Chicago seems to have a certain population that is very violent and involved in the rap/drug/gang culture.
Wow! They made triple digits! Can you imagine what the butcher’s bill would have been without stringent gun control?
Answer: Probably a lot less. The thugs aren’t as brave when the victims can shoot back.

Thought guns were banned in Chicago.
The irony here is that a lot of the “migrants” that come over the border claim asylum because they are allegedly fleeing violence in their home country.
Where can the people of Chicago flee?
Doesn’t matter. The solution is to go after white law abiding citizens by taking away THEIR guns..
