The Biden administration said this week that it opposed gender-affirming surgery for minors, the most explicit statement to date on the subject from a president who has been a staunch supporter of transgender rights.
The White House announcement was sent to The New York Times on Wednesday in response to an article reporting that staff in the office of Adm. Rachel Levine, an assistant secretary at the Department of Health and Human Services, had urged an influential international transgender health organization to remove age minimums for surgery from its treatment guidelines for minors.

It’s funny how Democrats always seem to make a point to get less crazy when the election approaches and then go right back to it after the election. It’s almost like they know the bulk of the country don’t support their positions. They get away with it because we have such short memories.
If this is true, why is Biden’s Justice Department suing the state of Tennessee over that state’s restrictions on these medical procedures???
I wonder if there’s one designated staffer who goes around whenever the administration says it’s not for something and tells the groups affected that it’s all just to win the election, after which everything will be the same as usual.

Yeesh! I read this th’other day. Article said it is because of Cass Report, which reported that ‘gender-affirming care’ ignores anti-trans statistics. Dress-wearing Levine was just reported to have asked WPATH to not have minimum ages for body mutilation surgery. The Biden Reich is lying, since 70% voters are against Orwellian trans laws. Biden called denying kids’ mutilation care what?
