U.N. Chief Says Climate Crisis Is ‘Fueling Political Instability’

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres warned of the evils of climate change Thursday, urging “greater ambition” to move away from fossil fuels.

“Our climate is breaking down, threatening water and food security, driving displacement, and fueling political instability,” Guterres stated on X (former Twitter).

“We need far greater ambition to slash emissions and deliver climate justice, starting with the biggest emitters,” he added.

“Making peace with nature is the defining task of the 21st century,” contends the Portuguese Socialist. “It must be the top, top priority for everyone, everywhere.”

Earlier this week, Guterres visited the former Soviet Socialist Republic of Kyrgyzstan, which, he asserted, “stands on the frontlines of the climate crisis despite its negligible contribution to the problem.”

Climate Crisis Is ‘Fueling Political Instability’

As opposed to inflation due to depredations of building the "Climate Change" slush fund.

Gotcha.

Petroleum has been the biggest contributor to the food supply and the ability to produce more than enough food for 8 billion people.

Climate change "cures" are nothing more than one big scam.

Natural gas is the way to go. And coal plants are now "clean" also. Why do politicians always go to extremes. Ahhhh....cuz it's a way to pass out OUR money.

Perhaps the ‘political instability’ is arising because the people don’t want to slash emissions and deliver climate justice, and are voting out politicians who are trying to do what you want.

Maybe someday we will have a president who will veto any legislation that funds the United Nations.

Wonder why he doesn’t call for Ukraine/Russia and Israel/Hamas make a deal. Talk about creating emissions with all the logistics of making war.

But yet, I’m asked to surrender my pickup :sigh:

Well, he’s not completely wrong, he’s just not right in the way he thinks he is. The agenda to “solve” the imaginary crisis is beginning to get a small amount of push back. That means “instability” for the elites.

The fake Climate Crisis Is used to Fuel Political Instability.
The agents of destruction are blaming everything they can but their goal of bringing down Western civilization has not changed.

If he thinks climate change is making things warmer, and ‘fueling political instability’, I suggest he is feeling the flames of Hell.

Which will be much hotter and last much longer.

And you don’t cure that by cutting off Fossil Fuel.

Tangent Warning - Check out what Jesus says about Oil!

Matthew 25:

25 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.

6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’

7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’

9 “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’

10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.

11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’

12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

I think it’s the other way around. Political nonsense fuels the Climate Derangement Syndrome.
