You are brilliant as usual as shown by our posts of this saying mere moments apart here.

Good idea for Trump to let the Dems knock themselves out

1) ... As far as I’m concerned, the intent was the exposure of Biden’s limitations.
2) ... Trump was effectively a prop, and we were simply observers.
The debate didn’t concern us directly.

Former President Donald Trump has been surprisingly quiet in recent days, lessening his normal barrage of personal attacks towards President Joe Biden just as Democrats are frantically huddling to plan a path forward for the party. Idiot writer just answered his own question.....LOL!

I dare say it may be one of the only times we got to witness Trump at a loss for words.

I dare say it may be one of the only times we got to witness Trump at a loss for words.Nah. I doubt it. His campaign team told him to do this. So he's being disciplined.

He’s still commenting on Truth Social. Let’s not fool ourselves, Trumps will always be Trump.

Trump is a smart guy don’t give the media ONE WORD out of his mouth to report on and taking the attention off of senile Joe!!!
To: MinorityRepublican
I wasn’t clear. I meant during the debate itself. He didn’t charge down Biden’s throat at his goofy answers and/or lack thereof.

Never interrupt your enemy when he is destroying himself.

They want Trump to say something - anything - they can demonize so they can change the subject.

When Trump's loud, they hate him.
When Trump's quiet, they hate him.
They just hate him.Stage 5 TDS.

I think President Trump was truly surprised at how bad Biden was—and actually felt sorry for the guy.
That was President Trump’s body language during much of the debate.
Nobody wants to humiliate a senile geezer.

The news is filled with stories about how various former Biden supporters and donors are shocked (shocked I tell ya) about having been lied to about his fitness for office...and stories abound about who should take his place.
Trump is smart enough to realize that he shouldn't interject himself into this drama.

I’d be shocked if his VP pick is not Vivek. I think he decided on Vivek about six months ago. I'm hoping he picks someone interesting, relatively young but stable, who brings eloquence to the table and can express the goals of the new administration in a way that people enjoy listening to. Trump fights an uphill battle in that respect, his verbal mannerisms often get in his own way, so a sidekick who knows how to give a more coherent speech would be a good contrast.
Not another old white guy, please(*). And of course someone who would make a good president in 2028.
Ramaswamy is good in those respects. Frankly, so is Gabbard, IMO. With the right choice, he can mop the decks with the Dem nominees come election time.
(*) I get to say that. I'm an old (72) white guy, after all.
