NEW: The NYT/Siena post-debate poll shows Trump widening his lead among likely voters nationally by 3 percentage points.

It is Trump's largest ever lead in a Times poll.
and remember that is a national poll, but Republican have an advantage in the Electoral College, which requires a Democrat to win by 3 basically.
So if Biden is down 6.. he is actually 9 away from being able to win.

Remember, Biden needs to be about +3 or +4 nationally in order to win because Democrats’ distribution is inefficient.....meaning they are packed into the Northeast and Left Coast.
If Trump is +6 nationally he’s probably about +8-10 in the swing states.

There are ALOT of stupid people that vote. And they’ll vote for Kamala no matter what.
It’s very much a competitive race and to think otherwise is not wise. Trump needs to stick to the issues and continue to do what he’s doing. Ignore Biden. And remind people how much better it was when he was President.

Humphrey wasn't on a primary ballot either. kamala will be the nominee because only she can access the 280 million campaign chest and Dems will not allow her to be thrown overboard, as Clyburn has already made crystal clear.
If it's Harris or Biden, they'll have to throw a hail mary with the help of fraud in MI, PA and WI to get to 270.

A series of ads featuring those kinds of clips should immediately be on the air in heavy rotation if they in fact go for the switch - because she cannot be allowed to define herself first.
Indeed, there are clips lasting minutes of her not able to speak coherently - including on the world stage during press conferences with major world leaders. They could run unclipped as entire ads - no music, no commentary, no graphics...just the clips.
