Surely, saving a few bucks on insurance is no reason to elect Orange Nazis.

Maybe they’ve been taking a bath on stock market.

Insurance companies have been using premiums to invest in the stock market, on the idea that they could use the income of the stock market to pay out the premiums and they could just take the premiums scot-free.

I think the problem is that the Insurance Comissioner, et.al., won’t let the companies raise rates.

So with repairs and replacements being inflated, the insurance companies are losing, based on previous rates.

So companies are leaving, rather than go more negative with payouts more than premiums.

It’s not just California.

A good friend has been an investigator for one of the big companies for over 25 years. He used to go out and interview folks, do an investigation.

Well, what happens. His company is gobbled up by another. I’m assuming with the help of Wall St. Then they take away company cars, company cell phones. Told they have to do all their work over the phone.

What does that mean? They’ll pay out claims as there’s no way to investigate them. And, everyone pays. They’ll just keep on raising rates. No matter what. No one held responsible for anything.

Wall St is destroying everything.

A couple months ago, “Trans Pacific Insurance Co. said they would both stop offering homeowners and personal umbrella insurance in the Golden State”

With a name like that, you’d think they would be doing a land rush business in California.

Every insurance company is seeing this. Wokes states letting crime run rampant affects rates in every other state.

If those idiots will tolerate a 70 cent per gallon gas tax surely higher insurance rates are no problem. Californians need to quit their biatchin’.

I just signed up with State Farm for auto and homeowners in the last week, but not in CA. I’m saving almost two grand over what I was paying.

Lose your home because you cannot afford insurance. Or lose your home because you can’t pay the taxes. What a choice.

Family size Hawaiian pizza at Papa Murphy’s in Elk Grove, CA is $23. Same pizza across the border in Reno is $16. That $20 minimum wage sure helped the poor🙄.Just wait until the minimum wage for health care workers kicks in. Freaking dumb ass commies!

CA is now a majority minority state 57%, only 43% white thanks to years of illegal immigration, Conservative tax paying voters continue to move to FL and Texas (the main reason FL is now a red state and not a battleground) and as Rich Baris of People’s Pundit polling has shown, they vote more conservative than natives of all red states. Idaho is another fav of CA

But what this does is leave CA in control of voters on welfare or state employees and they vote for every lefty idea-agressive renter rights where you don’t get evicted for non payment of rent and the latest is reparatiosn for all blacks-thats why insurance co are fleeing CA

Imagine my surprise that my Homeowners from Mercury (in Kalifornia) went down $45 this year. Price IIRC is $1350 a year.

Imagine my dismay that Wawanesa raised my auto Ins. $144 a year last month. Now $1900 a year full coverage on a 14 year old CRV, and a 6 year old Elantra GT. No tickets, no accidents.

I do run high liabilities, mid range deductibles.
