State Farm recently requested its largest home insurance rate increase to date, a move that would worsen the insurance crisis in California but also signaled that the company may be in financial trouble.
State Farm General, the company’s California subsidiary, recently submitted a request to the California Department of Insurance to raise insurance rates for homeowners, condo owners and renters in the Golden State.

I heard of others doing that was well. Some simply can no longer afford to pay their absurd premiums.

If those idiots will tolerate a 70 cent per gallon gas tax surely higher insurance rates are no problem. Californians need to quit their biatchin’.
I just signed up with State Farm for auto and homeowners in the last week, but not in CA. I’m saving almost two grand over what I was paying.
“We dumped State Farm....”
Where did you go?
Lose your home because you cannot afford insurance. Or lose your home because you can’t pay the taxes. What a choice.
These companies don’t give 2 sh*ts about affordability. They don’t even care if you ever made a claim or if your driving record is perfect.
Your insurance is being raised again, pay up!

The insurance companies use slick lawyers to design those contracts. If they want insurance that covers everything, that’s special insurance...lol..where the premiums really jump.
I am betting on nothing drastic happening to the house.
Not even trivial damage happened to my homes since I bought my first house in 1970. Never collected a penny from insurance company. 52 years of paying premiums. Such waste of money.
THIS ALL STARTED WITH THE UNCONTROLLABLE FOREST FIRES & THE TOTAL MIS-MANAGEMENT OF THE FORESTLAND.
I TOLD US FOREST GREEN BEANIES 20 YEARS AGO THAT THERE WERE SEVERE BARK BEETLE INFESTATIONS IN THE SIERRA NEVADA-—WHERE I USED TO RIDE HORSES.
THEY REFUSED TO LISTEN
LOSE YOUR HOUSE & CONTENTS TO A FIRE & THEN WHAT???
I know of people who did that. They had smoke detectors/CO everywhere, fire extinguishers, cameras, even a water supply with a pretty hefty battery powered pump with a hose that could reach anywhere around the home.
Family size Hawaiian pizza at Papa Murphy’s in Elk Grove, CA is $23. Same pizza across the border in Reno is $16. That $20 minimum wage sure helped the poor🙄.Just wait until the minimum wage for health care workers kicks in. Freaking dumb ass commies!
Hope you don’t have a fire
