Yet another major newspaper urged President Biden to step down after his disastrous debate against Trump — saying “Retirement is now necessary.”
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution published a front-page editorial Saturday asking Biden, 81, to pass the torch to another, more competent candidate, following the lead of The New York Times. “The unfortunate truth is that Biden should withdraw from the race, for the good of the nation he has served so admirably for half a century,” the AJC Editorial Board wrote.
Georgia’s largest newspaper painted Biden’s performance in Thursday’s debate against convicted felon Donald Trump as “excruciating,” with the sitting president failing to convey any visions for a second term or his accomplishments from his nearly four years at the helm.

The unfortunate truth for you, ACJ and the NYT, you knew Biden shouldn’t have been running from the start and didn’t give a damn. Now you’re panicking. Too bad. It’s to late now. You’re stuck with him. Also, nobody cares about newspapers have to say anyway. This isn’t the 1800s.

Biden spent one entire week at Camp David sequestered with sixteen advisors, prepping him for this one 90-minute debate. How in hell can anyone say this was just “one bad night”?
This is all a set up. Soon the angry Biden will come back out like he did the other night and all the media whores will proclaim Biden is back and better than ever. Second debate cancelled because Trump is in jail, Biden hides, glides to reinstallation, and 4 more years.

Here’s what I think Biden’s people will do between now and the next debate.
Limit Joe’s exposure, with a small number of “teleprompter attacks” while his surrogates go extra negative on Trump on the airwaves.
If his poll numbers don’t crater and fund raising doesn’t dry up. I think the stubborn old SOB will try to ride it out.
